Oak Canyon Nature Center reviews
12 Great little nature park with many routes to take. Nice to sit quietly and just listen to the birds and wind in the leaves.
Updated to add that I recently took my 11 y/o son to the beginning Archery class here and it was great! It was a nice small group and the instructors were friendly and helpful!
Not far from the city. A place with dense shade suitable for people of all ages to climb mountains.
This trail is basically in my backyard. It offers trails and walks near the stream. Today, there was a day camp for kids. It was fun to watch them, before walking the stream trail back home.
It was serene. Good for kids. They have a small nature center that has some info about the park and trails that are short but good for birdwatching
Very beautiful part plenty of different Trails it's an all-day Adventure or at least half the day just be careful when you're out there hiking there is rattlesnakes up there it's always be on the lookout on the ground before you take a step have a wonderful day
This is a really nice nature area that I didn’t even know was here. I think there is only one sign along the road, but once you drive past the golf course and stuff you’ll be able to park fairly easily and immediately get on the trail.
I wasn’t able to explore the whole area, but what I did see was very nice and felt reasonably secluded unlike some of the other parks which are closer to major streets etc.
Large oak trees are everywhere, and there was a creek with water and ducks (which I assume is usually dry). There were some outdoor exhibits about old mining equipment and nature too. I’ll be back soon to see the rest.
Such a beautiful, easy, relaxing, and tranquil walk. The grounds are well kept, and paths are easy to follow. We had a stroller and were able to access every part.
Good for nature walks. It is amazing to find the nature preserve in middle of Anaheim Hills city. Something’s are worth preserving.
A nice walk in the hills. Usually busy with some sort of wedding or school / daycare activity though. Also pretty busy for a hiking trail.
Gorgeous hiking trails that make for a swift stroll or an all day outing. Lovely views and well-maintained spaces!
Beautiful place to hike. The path at the top has a lot of cacti. (Small children should not run.) I recommend it for walks with the family.
Great walk, beautiful view. The different walkways allow for different distances to walk, according to different abilities, weather hiking or walking.
