Oak Creek Park (often confused with Creek Park a few blocks away) is a small greenway tucked away behind some houses along La Mirada Blvd.there is a horse trail that connects the end of Creek Park, Oak Creek Park and through Biola University ended near Fire Station 49. It is a nice place to take a stroll.

Neighborhood park of natural beauty, surprisingly tucked away, as yet another quiet getaway for a quick workout, walk, stroll, picnic and meditation!
I first noticed this photogenic green space with maps, en route to La Mirada Creek Park, which I almost mistakenly assumed are parts of the same park, as they look the same, have similar looking pathways and are both sandwiched within residential neighborhoods, a few blocks apart.
The same creek is central thru both parks!
In fact, I could’ve used the same writeup for both parks, if not for the lack of park designated parking spaces and lack of a restroom at Oak Creek Park.
I’ve reviewed many smaller parks with the parking and restroom (s) included, and while this is first and foremost a neighborhood park where the average users are steps away from home, the missing amenities may unintentionally exclude visitors. Regardless, it is a public park, so discretion is advised!
There’s access at several points around the park. Acceptable street side parking, signs permitting, is at Cordova Rd, across from the church, with an incline ramp into the park. There’s also ramps off La Mirada Blvd, across from Biola University.
