Oak Hill Memorial Park reviews
6I visited on Christmas day 2023 and too my surprise the place looked really good. I usually have to pull weeds and clean the headstones but not this time. I do want to note that this is the first time in 7 years that it has looked decent.
I hate the fact that my family put my grandmother here being Mexican we celebrate día de Los muertos and would appreciate some longer hours. They do not take cultures into consideration and probably don’t care, but if you’re looking for a cemetery to place your loved one consider one that respects all cultures and traditions
What could you expect from these ppl? The groundskeeper show no respect, flowers are always taken down, grass is hardly maintained. I see ppl bring their own equipment and do it themselves - we spend so much money for this and they can’t even show a little empathy or compassion. Do not put your loved ones here
Groundskeeping workers are extremely disrespectful. Numerous times my flower vases are thrown away for according to them not being in compliance, the rules state that flowers must be in plastic vases which are what mine are always in, even after numerous talks with the office and the groundskeeper supervisors my vases and flowers keep being thrown out each time. Supervisor assured me it wouldn't happen again but his team disregarded and threw everything once again. They don’t respect or follow their own policies. Save your money and for the sake of loved ones go somewhere else, office worker Cathy is very rude and dismissive.
I went today, August
12th to take the items off of my grandson grave site and it was gone. Freshly mowed. I am so mad. It's not like I can just move him. I could just cry. I called and
hopefully will have an answer.
Mariachi band with tuba waking the dead. A car parked on the narrow road leaving little room to drive by and blocking two way traffic.
We buried my parents and a few friends at this cemetery because it looks beautiful with all the trees and flowers. Recently they changed their policy. I heard they now throw all the flowers away on the 15th of the month. I spend a lot of money on silk flower because I can't get there every month and the whole purpose of silk flower is that it last. I understand if it's old or faded then of course throw it away but to throw it away just because it's the 15th of the month doesn't make sense at all. That means if you go put flowers on the 14th, the very next day it WILL GET THROWN OUT. It's a stupid policy. I hope more people will start complaining so they will change their policy. If the silk or real flowers look nice then leave it alone. There's a lot less flowers now and it doesn't look as nice as it use to. For this reason I gave it a 3 star instead of a 5.
