Oakland Arena reviews
16Parking is expensive, but the Bart runs right behind the coliseum and arena, so very convenient. Plenty of security, so we felt safe dropping off our kids for the Maneskin concert.
Attended multiple concerts here. Amazing venue. The parking fee is $40 which is bit expensive but good parking arrangements.
I used to love the coliseum but venue just looks sad on the inside now that the warriors do not play there. I have also been trying to reach out to anyone at the venue about missing items and they have completely ignored me.
We are a huge Sonu Nigam fan and yesterday we attended the concert. He was fab and the audience was awesome. We went half an hour early and got parking quite easily. Loved the show and the arena after a long time.
Delicious food and great staff. We had VIP suites so the whole lounge was beautiful. You could order dinner, sides and drinks right behind your seats. There is also an attached bar.
Great indoor place to experience concerts n events, well designed for thousands of people, centralized AC, many restrooms n cafeteria for snacks, plenty of parking for a smooth traffic flow.
Did not feel congestion at all.
Infact it takes me more time getting out of my kid' s high school parking lot.
Would definitely go to attend more events without second thought.
Over all good experience!
I don’t know what happened to this place last night. I took my son to se Lil Baby last night. We had floor seats row 4. This place was completely unhinged. I didn’t feel safe, I didn’t feel like I got what I paid 3 seats for. Security had allowed people to stand on seats, in which seats they did not pay for. I don’t see how security let them into this section? People snuck in big bottles of alcohol? How? ! I did not feel safe at all, I felt like I couldn’t protect my family in case of an emergency. I couldn’t even leave me seat to use the restroom because people were freeloading off seats they did not pay for. Imagine every inch of the floor completely covered with people getting high, twerking, standing on chairs, waving big glass bottles of alcohol around. This place needs to check security and promote more safety hazards.
I’ve been to a concert here before and they were strict ont he aisle being clear and no one to stand on chairs.
Not enough leg room very tight, in seating. Need more food concessions, alcoholic drinks concessions are 3 to 1. Concessions area in general is cramped as well. The concert sound is really surprisingly quite good. Myrna at ticket check was very pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. (Alicia Keys concert)
The Coliseum definitely shows it age, but it’s fairly easy to get to. The event seats are much more comfortable, than in the past, but not as good as Chase Center. The staff is great and very helpful. The $9 charge for a bottle of water in s ridiculous though. The actual arena was freezing cold, so I recommend a jacket. Overall, a good experience
Oakland Arena is the Premium venue for concerts in the Bay Area. Bar none. Easy access to Freeway. Multiple Exits so your not waiting just to move. Plenty of Security. But not to worry about Legal vivations. Also. There is a dispensery across the street!
Parking Transit access what more could you ask for.
Oakland Arena is Awqewsome
I love attending concerts shows and games here. Its local easy accessible by bart plenty of parking. Good food people and shows.
Great sound, convenient place for a show. BUT, unless you shell out $100 for platinum parking you will get stuck in a cluster of vehicles crowding each other to the exit for a good 45 to 60 mins. Once the show is over ushers literally make you leave your section and out into the chaos of the halls to the exit. This is over 17,000 people all trying to leave at once. Not realistic and intense for anyone not prepared for that. Definitely can be handled much better. Views are great and sound is awesome. Again, be prepared for your patience to be tested at times. Usually at the end of the show.
Cool Venue to watch the A's play. Food is decent and priced about how you would expect for a MLB game.
$40 for event parking. That costs more than the ticket itself! Crooks, thieves and scam artist run this joint.
The concert was good. I normally take public transportation and this venue is not commuter friendly and parking is $40. They have no good rider share policy. The traffic was so backed up I just walked the rest of the way to entrance. After the concert I was given various information from staff about how to get the rider share to pick me up. I set it up twice and both times it was cancelled because the police prevented them from entering the parking lot. I began to feel like I would be stranded. No concert goer should ever leave an arena with that impression. Probably won’t be going to any events there.
