Oasis Restaurant & Wine Lounge reviews
24Wonderful patio covered by trees. The food was delicious and well prepared. I had dlomas and beef cigars, seasoned ground beef in a fried spring roll. Served with a fantastic sauce i can't spell but tasted great
Ordinary and overpriced food. Waitress is nice but I hope the receptionist can say both hello and BYE.
Well it was a Valentine's Day special fixed price menu, a little over $100 per person, the options were still plenty and well balanced.
The champagne, appetizers, salads, and the main entree were flavorful, fresh, and delectable.
Perhaps, if it were not for the excellent offerings until then, the desserts round might have also been considered excellent. But relative to the earlier rounds, the desserts fell a bit short.
Service, though generally stellar at the Oasis, tonight was not the same.something they should take note, only reason for a 4/5 stars
The place is great and roomy, the food was yummy and the prices were very fair.fast, effective service and very friendly waiters. Will definitely recommend this place.
Food is excellent! Staff very friendly. Patio area could be cleaned a bit. Spider webs all over and dirty. Be nice to put cover to block the adjacent dirty parking lot and garbage bins. Love to hear some music. We will come back again!
Nice decor, tasty food. I'm a big fan of the lamb shank but I also like a number of the classic Afghan dishes. Service is good. Parking can be challenging but that is common for downtown area. Has a small lot around the back.
Service is not that great, server we had was very rude. I will never go back again. Too pricey for simple food I have tried so many other middle eastern foods in Bay Area and the price was not high as Oasis.
Lamb shank very good.tender with side of seasoned rice and asparagus.red wine zinfandel.well expensive #not the right price. Mediterranean food.
I think the most luscious and refreshing sangria I've ever had! Not your usual wimpy or overly citrusy stuff. Yum
The food tasted amazing! Never had a stuffed chicken before but it was awesome. Chili sauce wasn’t too spicy but wasn’t bland either. Bar was helpful and provided a wide range of mock tails for us teens. Would defiantly reccomend. Also had very good plating
Delicious Mediterranean food. Loved the signature appetizer, Pumpkin Borani served with flat bread
I was there for happy hour and it was great. We ordered small bites from happy hour menu, they all tasted amazing. Cocktails were excellent.service fast and friendly.
Nancy was a great server for a ladies lunch. Enjoyed a window seat indoors but would come back for wine on the covered porch overlooking Main St. Try the pumpkin appetizer which was butternut squash. Very garlicky and great spread on the complimentary flat bread. Middle East bistro vibe, good date night spot.
Great selection of food and the portions are large. We shared a meal with two other friends and one plate and appetizer made us full. Definitely recommend this place!
I came here for a Christmas party and we had a couple of tables reserved in the back. The staff was friendly and the attentive. The food was excellent! I tried a little bit of everything but the lamb was my favorite. I also really enjoyed the drinks, if you are interested in trying something new, I recommend the chocolate cake, one of the servers at the bar recommended it to me and I had a few! Great place, I recommend it to anyone interested in going somewhere nice for dinner, like a date night!
Stuffed chicken? More like tough chicken.
Everyone else enjoyed their food, so I'll give 3 stars
Very charming and inviting. Excellent service and food. A little louder than ideal for a quiet one-on-one conversation.
A gem in downtown Pleasanton. Be sure to try the Pumpkin Borani with Jalapenos. The lamb shank melts off the bone. Ashuk is also a favorite. Small but interesting cocktail menu and a nice selection of wines. Friendly service. Great for a date night!
Excellent Middle Eastern food with thoughtful service. Not stuffy nor formal but not scruffy either. The presentation of the food is high-end and the quality of the food is exceptional.
The breads and dips are wonderful; we usually go through two baskets of bread. The kebabs are very tasty; I usually go with the koobideh kabob but they have nice cuts of meat for those wishing a more standard kabob. And the eggplant dishes and pumpkin borani are superstars. Don't miss them.
