I had nothing but bad experiences here. They are rude, unprofessional, and disorganized. I had set up an appointment months in advance to have my rabbit seen by Dr. Asseo, who I had heard recommended for rabbits. First day our visit was cancelled when we were already set up in an exam room, due to an emergency surgery- understandable enough. They offered to reschedule us with a different vet, Dr. Becich, for a few days later and gave us an appointment time. When we arrived that day, they had no record of the appointment being set up. They saw us anyway (the staff member who offered us that time was thankfully there and recalled our conversation- if she hadn't been it felt clear they would have just turned us away.) However, at that point they were double booked as they had given our appointment time to someone else. Dr. Becich was horrendously rude, talked down to us, and was not at all on board with my goals of care for my elderly animal. I had one later interraction with her, on the phone, and she was similarly rude and exasperating to communicate with. The last interraction I had with the clinic overall was getting a med refill; they dispensed a supply that would expire only two months later even though the volume was enough for four months. Unfortunately I didn't catch this until much later, otherwise I would have addressed it right away with them. Very unprofessional pharmacy practice to do that though. After this I transferred care to another vet (Dr. Sip) and in the process I requested my rabbit's records from Oasis- in that I could see Dr. Becich characterized me negatively in her documentation. I could not possibly recommend this place less. I would highly recommend Dr. Sip instead, who does housecalls.she is a gem and worth every penny. Steer clear of Oasis, they were a nightmare.

My daughter's rats had respiratory infections. Oasis was recommended by a local vet because of their experience with rodents. They were very helpful and caring and knew exactly how to treat our rats.

My dog needed a OTC supplement for doggy dementia, no prescription needed. Unfortunately my usual vet doesn’t carry it, but saw online this place was the closest to me that does. Called in for more info, but unfortunately the front desk told me this was prescription only (which is not true), and my dog needed a $100 pet exam fee before even “prescribing” the supplement to me. I did not consider even coming in after that interaction. Take what you will with my experience.

Wonderful vet office, tidy and clean. Took in my pet rabbit with an emergency last minute. Vet was very professional and understanding. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Everyone at Oasis is absolutely terrific. Their focus is always what is best for the animal! I could never consider taking my 4- legged babies anywhere else.

I've been bringing my guinea pigs here for 2 years now, and Dr Becich is the absolute best. She's compassionate and very conscientious of how I want to care for my girls. Every procedure she brings up as an option, she explains what it is and what the likely outcome will be if we do or do not do it. I know she has very limited time with each patient, but she still manages to give me and my a lot of information and a ton of care in that short time.

The staff are also always kind and friendly, from the front desk to the techs. The building is very clean, well lit, and comfortable to visit. I'm grateful I found this place.

I will also say, when I adopted six guinea pigs from a rescue, I had no idea how expensive the vet bills would be. I haven't shopped around (not many options for exotics), so I can't compare vet costs. But I'm incredibly glad that I chose to get pet insurance. If I hadn't had it, I'd likely have lost at least one if not two girls simply because I couldn't afford a procedure.

Dr. Louisa Asseo is a true expert, very caring and trustworthy doctor, in fact, the entire staff of doctors and technicians are amazing and always working hard under intense pressure with the variety of injured animals the continuously flow through their front doors. Thank you for the past 12 years of exemplary service and outstanding care for our German Shepherds, cat and rabbit.

Drs. Asseo and Becich are the best around when it comes to exotic pet care. Incredible knowledge and skill set. I am an ER veterinarian myself, and this is the only place I take my guinea pigs.
