OB Noodle House Bar 1502, San Diego CA

Overall fan of OB noodle houses two locations- the sizzling fish is my favorite, pretty simple but done well. I tried the dry chow fun and would probably ask for more veggies next time since the crispy fried noodle dishes come with carrots and cabbage too which I was jealous of. Their cocktails are good, and spring rolls. I tried the honk kong noodles with tofu and veggies and it came with carrots, cabbage, water chestnuts, baby corn, broccoli and is definitely thicker sauce/gravy. I think there’s a meat broth in it. The tofu lettuce wraps are great! Ask for chili oil/paste to add to everything too.

Great food! We stopped by after checking out the tide pools this afternoon with a large group of friends. From the hostess that sat us to the two waiters that took care of us everyone was great. I highly suggest trying the wings.

OMG! So delicious! We ordered #48 and #49 to go. The food was ready when promised and most importantly was so delicious!

Been eating at ob noodle house for years and I forgot to throw out my beer last time I went in when I asked if I could please just throw it away they just kicked us out we had waited 45 minutes and I had just worked a 12 hour day. I may never eat here again food isn’t worth the wait or the service. Server was a loser in a crop top

Food is super delicious. Put in our drink order as soon as we got their but the server never brought me my drink. After our food was brought out I had to order a Coke so that I had something to drink.

Wings and peanut butter shots are all that really matter here. If you want anything else go to ob noodle house. This is a short order dinner version of the og spot

The vibe and atmosphere were great but I ordered the 1502 special pho, the most expensive because of its choice meat cuts. My pho was delivered with 2 small pieces of only 1 type of meat. I wanted to let the server know but he was very busy so I just ate it. Probably a mistake but should have better quality control.

The 1502 special (pho) was the most boring pho ive tasted in a long time. Also the apparent wagyu beef in the pho was tough and tasted like cardboard.how was this the most expensive pho item? The sides were good but i thought their noodles/soup/pho would be good considering it's literally "OB noodle house". Pretty disappointed

Came here for lunch and had a good meal. Sadly the prices have been raised alot since last time we were here but the quality of food is still great a must try - garlic chicken wings, pho and fried rice is really good too.

Also there's a nice list of craft cocktails and a wide variety of beer. Overall recommend this place and will be coming back

A solid spot for tasty noodles, pho, and tofu wraps. They also have an extensive beer list, including kombucha and unusual beers like a “banana bread” brew. Their shrimp is just ok. The pho is pretty good, but is obviously not as great as a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. The tofu wraps are really great! It’s only a block from the OB pier and the beach, and it’s a nice spot for a quick lunch or dinner.

This is an excellent noodle house with a massive whiskey/Scotch/rye list. They do a very good vegetarian Pho and lots of other dishes for carnivores and vegetarians. They also have a solid beer list with lots of local craft beers on draft. My one complaint is that the music is very loud. Overall, this is a great place to eat and is worth the visit.

Love the place, service/food is great but you need to get a better phone, hate to say is our fourth time trying to order to go and I can barely understand what your staff is saying or what they can hear

Do you noodle? Noodle house has been an OB staple for years and bar 1502 adds an ocean breeze and view while you dine. Tofu or chicken lettuce wraps and wings are our favorite appetizers, and Hong Kong chow fun, crispy egg noodles and the fried rice are all delicious options. The chefs main selections and pho have also never steered me wrong!

Ordered online, this business has two locations not specifying pick up is at a certain one. Walked to one, was told to go to the other. Food is average, though they didn’t get my order right.

Quick service and amazing food. Stopped for dinner one evening on a local friend's recommendation and had the wings as an appetizer - they did NOT disappoint!

The fried rice.best I have ever had. Came here with my son who lives in San Diego and its his favorite place. Tried several things including chow fun. Amazing! David was the best!

My house fried rice was excellent but the sizzling fish was undercooked and did not come out sizzling as usual first time person ordered didn't say anything until she was done unfortunately

Make sure everybody is in your party before you try and get a table. You must get the wings, and get some soup. If you're just going to hang out at the bar and have drinks and appetizers, that's also a smart choice.
