So delicious! Great empanada's. So many too chose from. Great pastries. You can't go wrong. Must try!

Definitely a locals favorite. I got two empanadas which were great. There are croissants and other bakery goods but no donuts as near as I could tell.
There’s a couple of tables, outdoor seating and one or two inside and that’s about it. Pretty small place so come prepared to get it to go or wait for a table. You will not be disappointed, if you like Latin American food and bakery goods.

I love this place so much. I'm trying to pick my favorite empanadas to recommed and it's so hard cause all the flavors are amazing. Definitely burrito and cuban are a must. Congratulations Obra, you are the best

I came here for their famous empanadas. This store is located inside a plaza with plenty of parking spot. It is a small bakery, but it has tables and chair that allow guest to eat outside of the store. Servers were attentive and services were fast. I ordered chicken, beef, BBQ Pork, sausage, and Cuban. Each empanada has a stamp of their flavor on it. The seasonings were perfect and not too dry. My favorite is Cuban. I was stuffed and could not try their pasty, but the pasties look beautiful. I also ordered tres leches coffee. This is such an eye opening experience that I could not imagine that the flavor of tres leches matches perfectly great with coffee. It is one of the best coffee I had so far. Will come back for more food and drinks for sure.

Empanadas are extremely flavorful! I couldn't even pick a favorite. Super calm atmosphere, attentive friendly staff, and definitely a new go to place. Make sure to ask about new drinks or happy hour specials.

This place is a hidden gem. Everything is absolutely delicious, and made from scratch. Give it a try and you’ll come back for more!

Delicious! The salsa is amazing too.they have a vegan empanada, and at least two vegetarian options that i saw.i only give four stars because i think $4.50 for such a small empanada is a bit overpriced.but hey, they are good!

No need to go all the way to Porto's if your in long beach this place will get the job done and then some! Their potaoe balls are better than Porto's and they have way more empanand combos, chipotle dipping sauce is amazing, on top of that they make amazing deserts. It's a no brianer just go and thank me later.

I had positive experiences visiting this bakery [fried potato ball very good]; today was an EXCEPTION: I bought their lemon cake. Awful! No Lemony taste! EXPENSIVE [$4.99]!

I’m so sad I didn’t find you sooner! The empanadas were super tasty and the sandwiches were just what I wanted for lunch today. Service was fast and friendly and everything tasted great. I did make the mistake of not adding a tres leches cake to the order and had to make an impulse purchase at the counter.

Potato Balls were yummy. Not alot of flavor compared to Porto's. However, the cheese inside is what makes it different and adds a flavor to it. The cheese seems to sit on one end of the ball. It does leave a huge mess and breaks apart very easily. Would order again.

Beef Empanadas were very dry, doughy, and no flavor. Would not order it again.

Empanadas! This is why I like to stop here when I do go their way. Their empanadas are uniquely made and very flavorful. They have chicken, beef and chorizo combinations that are quite tasty. They make other fillings like potato but these are my favorites. Each one is stamped with a name to describe what’s inside. You can buy a few of them to take home or you can get one or two with a coffee or a cafe mocha. They have outdoor seating if you want to enjoy your empanadas al fresco.

My second trip to Obra. Does NOT disappoint. This time we ordered the Cuban Sandwich. I’ll just say I’m elated this place is up the street from me. Truly a outward “yum” experience. They add a cilantro green spread that take this Cuban to the next level. I held on to my sandwich until the next day. Fabulous cold, that speaks volumes as to the quality of the food, for me. The Empanadas are always amazing, the salmon color dipping sauce, heaven!
The staff is great and super friendly. Be prepared to spend, it’s all worth it 100%

Nice bakery. My favorite empanada is jalapeño. I like the guava cheese pastry, too.

Soooo gooood! Potatoes balls are so freakin good. The breakfast empanada and beef are my favorite.
