Supermarket O'Brien's Market reviews
31Its a place that's in walking distance for me to go if I need some food and soda, plus they have some good fresh paystrys in the morning.
The store is close to me so when I need something quick I'll go there. It's kind of on the high side so I wouldn't do my grocery shopping here only when things are on sale or to get a Starbucks coffee because there's one inside. They do make great sandwiches though there's a great deli in there and seating outside.
I really like this store. They have a really good, helpful, considerate staff who actually seem to enjoy their jobs. They have quality goods- From health and beauty products to groceries. And their deli makes very, very good sandwiches! I come here often just to get a fresh deli sandwich and they even have tables where you can enjoy your food, if you choose to. In a world where big corporations are moving in and there seems to be a diminishing value on the good, old fashioned, local, hometown sort of quality neighborhood grocery store, O'Brien's still retains those qualities and more.
This store has a great deli section. The bakery is great too. The grocery store in general is very expensive, though.
This is nice grocery store with a bakery, deli & Starbucks but to be honest I mostly come here for they're sandwiches. I would recommend the gourmet vegetarian or the Chaka. They have now started a digital stamp card on they're mobile app. So after the 9 sandwich purchase your 10th is free.
Honestly they're a bit pricey, but they are a small market after all. Everything about this place is very clean and well kept. You'll have a good variety of things to choose from if you shop here. They've got magazines, small trinkets, a good dairy and cold section, a nice seafood/Delhi section, and lots more. It's never overcrowded, it's easy to get around and find what you need, and it never seems to be too loud. It is also situated in a small plaza like place with a variety of shops around it, and including a small favorite restaurant of mine, Orient house.
O'brien's has a great selection of everything. Funny story that happend there. My daf went to go get chocolate chips and it took a while cuz the bags of chocolate chips kept falling off the shelf, anyways a guy in lne who was behind me said to me, "Don't get a man to do a woman's job. " HAHAHAHA!
I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, but live close enough that I'm still willing to travel farther to shop here. The larger selection & bakery/deli dept are worth it.
Well known grocery store. The very best in all areas.meat Dept, produce, everything is the freshest and best in the county!
Obrien's is the best place to get a sandwich in Modesto hands down. The ladies always hook it up and are so friendly! I go here atleast 3 times a week.
