Ocean Auto Detail, Glendale CA

I was unimpressed. The sole issue I asked him to address was the wet carpets from water invasion during the rain. Showed up to pick up my car and the carpets were damp. What kind of auto detailer doesn't have a dryer? It no longer smelled bad, but it didn't smell 'clean' either. Within 24 hours, the dank smell was back. Might have to re-do with some place more capable.

I read all the good reviews so was hopeful going in. But big disappointment. I will be brief:

The good: To be fair, the exterior job was fine and he touched up a small scratch with some paint, which I appreciated. Window job was fine too (both inside and outside)

The bad: Interior job was terrible. It was actually worse than a regular car wash job. (see photos and captions). My kid's sun screen mark, which can be easily wiped off was still there, dust and dirt still visible, tires were still dirty, and he completely forgot to clean the rear seat cup holder area. Again see my photos and judge for yourself.

The ugly: When I started asking questions about the poor interior job, he gave me this attitude and rudely said he would not take my money and told me to go. This is an older man, and I kind of felt bad at this point and offered to pay him the full price and apologized to him that I didn't mean to be rude and that I was just asking about the job.but he kept his rude attitude kept telling me to leave. He ended up taking $80 instead of the $125 he initially charged. Honestly, I think I could have just gone to a hand car wash place and got a better result for less than $50.

I would not recommend and never go back.
