Mostly fishermen using the campground it seemed. Looks like a death wish going out in the surf there though. Honey buckets need some attn, showers were hot, cost $2.50 though. No walking trails that I could find either but the views are gorgeous

Beautiful campground right by the ocean, good for RV’s and even tents if you’re not scared of the cold at night. Surprisingly very warm during the day in late fall-winter months. There are mostly cliffs and huge waves, perfect for a short hike or just chilling in a hammock listening to waves crashing down below.

This place ROCKS! It is BEAUTIFUL. We have a place right on the water with virtually no neighbors. The guys that own the place are friendly and helpful. Definitely would come back if out this way.

Very nice, plenty of porterpotties, a couple of showers (you pay for them). The view is beautiful! Caught some fish off the cliff.

Oh wow! This was so nice. I’ve been waiting to go to this place for a couple of years. Found out campsite easily. We had family and friends come with. Waking up to see the ocean was fabulous! The wind was light that week.
There was something for everyone, hiking, fishing, kayaking, car site seeing, and fresh oysters that was being offered from a vender raw and bbq.
The drive was half the adventure. Such a beautiful drive.
Recommend this place. There are a lot of trailers but don’t let that stop you from your adventure. Idk what they charge for monthly rent to leave your trailer but wouldn’t it be nice to have a place on the ocean?
Hope all this helps have fun!

This was an amazing place. It is right at the top of the ocean and if you get lucky to find a spot with the ocean view it will give you an unforgettable experience. The only issue is that you cannot book it in advance and it is not guaranteed that if you show up early you can get a better spot.

I just had the most wonderfull 7 day stay at Ocean Cove campground. The Staff and host were very accommodating with my friends and myself in our wheelchairs and they are pet lovers of all kinds. Thanks again Jeff Coutant

Absolutely beautiful scenery around this peninsula. Ocean clean! Large group campsites, many with amazing ocean views, some secluded and some on dusty flats. General store just across the highway. Indoor and open air quarters-only showers available. No nice toilet restrooms available on premises, only several porta-potty style that smell terrible even though they are emptied daily. If you have an RV with a toilet, you are lucky! Small lovely beach below with a narrow zigzag boat ramp for small boats, fish cleaning station provided, sunsets are AMAZING from several cliffside spots. Raccoons will visit your picnic table at night so pack food away. Ground fire pits at each site, chilly night air, starry skies, warm to hot daytime weather. Many campers have dogs on leash. Many large families with children riding bikes and scooters around at variable speeds throughout the day so drive cars with caution!

Beautiful place to camp! Even with the wind it was fun camping here. Nice views all around. Definitely will go again.

Good place to camp last minute but not our first choice anymore, the charge is per car per night instead of per campsite and right now is 90% reserved by long term rv campers. Spots used to be easier to find. Theres also only porta potties which are not sanitary and frequently out of TP. I think it would be much nicer with regular restrooms. They also do not do much about late night noise we still had neighbors loudly playing music into 1 am.

Amazing place to go camping windy during the day but so still at night. Hearing the waves crash as you sleep was therapeutic.we set up our tent right by the the ledge by the dock. I would note have a strong industrial tent if your going to have a big one that is more than 5 feet tall. Ours got whipped into submission. It was Flailing around like a possessed contortionist being hit with holy water during an exorcism. Other wise I would camp behind the tree line.

Awesome campground and worth the price. The cliffside spots are very windy, so bring extra stakes and tie downs, but overall even in the chilly mornings it was spectacular.

Beautiful scenery for sure. The reasons why I didn't give it five stars was because, in my opinion, for one it was way too crowded and felt a little cramped. There were plenty of campsites, but the only thing is that they're all in close proximity to each other. So if you're neighbors are loud then it's on you how you wanna react to that situation. With that being said, I was woken up by a shouting match between neighboring campers at around 2 AM. Another thing was that it was WAAAY too windy for my liking. It kinda took away from the enjoyability of it all to me. It was cold enough as it is plus the wind chill made nights quite uncomfortable. So if you plan on using a tent make sure to bring a portable heater and prepare for your tent flapping in the wind all night. And lastly, there is NO CELL SERVICE! The only place you can get a signal anywhere is on a ridge above the ocean. It entails a little bit of a hike depending on where your campsite is located. Not far at all though regardless and the view is worth it. I added a few pictures and a video to show you where/how to find the ridge. Ok and so there's no actual bathrooms just portopotties. Plenty of em all around and they were actually pretty clean considering you're on a campground. They have 4 showers by the entrance, which one was closed at the time. They cost $2.50 for about 7 minutes. Quarters only. The water got surprisingly hot also. You MUST register at the Cove Store right across the street from the entrance. $35 cash or $40 cc. It was a fun experience and the scenery is what postcards are made of, but I doubt I'd return.

It's a good place to pull into around the clock. Set up camp. Go fishing or just take a walk.

Most of the best camp sites with ocean views were taken.
But plenty of sites still available.
Nice place, nice people.

Great view. Fire pit and picnic table provided. The facilities are minimal so be prepared for that.
