Ocean Cove Lodge, Jenner CA

This place is one of those hidden treasures, the property was in an amazing location, our room was very nice, and decorated amazingly, the beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was a very nice tile shower. The front desk was very helpful, they go out of their way to make sure you are happy and have a comfortable stay. They also have a restaurant/bar on site that has great food, clam chowder was top notch.

This is such a beautiful place with an amazing view. I didn't stay i just stopped by for a drink. Great margaritas.

Lived on the coast all my life and this is by far one of the simplest cutest place on it. The company and atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxing. Recommend to everyone.

We are camping at Ocean Cove and needed wifi for 10 minutes. We went over to the lodge and hotel. The people that are working this place are extremely rude. We spent $80 on a group dinner and the restaurant has "wifi" which doesn't work. Which is ok, but I went to the lodge since they have another network to see if it worked better. I explained to the guy over there that the wifi wasn't working and asked if he had the password to the lodge. He said, "yeah I know it" and stood there awkwardly so I asked if I could try and see if it was any faster.another awkward pause and he said, "so I'm supposed to just give you free wifi"? I asked if they were the same company as the bar and that we had just spent $80 last night and another $15 this morning. His response was, "so". At this point I no longer wanted wifi from him and left. I would not recommend supporting this facility. They have "guest" wifi and this isn't a private network.

Beautiful, Clean, well maintained family run business. It's obvious the love they have for hospitality and customer care.

I really love this place! I went with my husband and we enjoyed and relaxed.
The room was super clean and comfortable. Closer to the beach and to the Fort Ross.

Nice Staff, food OK, but over priced, and the room #15 we had was the smallest we have ever had in the world. Yes, smaller than even Tokyo or Israel. You could not turn around in the shower, and I am not fat. The hot water went hot and cold all the time. The entire place has not been updated since 1950. The owner must not want to spend any money on this place. You get a tiny box, and toilet. $119 + fees, $143. Not worth it!

Too expensive for the accommodations. Room definitely need an upgrade. Mattress was horrible and extremely old. Only thing going for this place is the hot tub on the deck.

We had a one night stay on our way to San Francisco and it was a nice, reasonably priced room for me, my wife and two kids (8 and 10). It is across the street from the cliff-side ocean and has lovely views. There is a resteraunt right there open 12-8pm. We had dinner there and it was nice though only a cook and one other person doing all of the waiting. There is an RV camp across the street to the left but it was not intrusive at all. The rooms are old and worn but clean and updated enough to provide TV, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, heater. The beds and pillows are old as well but for one night it was fine. Our kids enjoyed walking around the grounds. There was coffee and danish at the front desk/tiny gift shop in the morning. Grounds we’re quiet after 8PM and room was well insulated from any noise from other rooms.

The owner Tim was very sweet and friendly. One employee, Odessa has a bubbly personality. The premises were clean and the rooms were well stocked. Loved the quilts.

This place really deserves 4.5 stars. The rooms are clean, even if some of the parts are a little dated - the bathroom tile and wooden towel racks and tp dispenser gave me some serious 70s nostalgia vibes. The (gas powered) wood stove for heat was really excellent - makes the room really charming. The staff was very kind and helpful. The bar and grill is also excellent! Bread bowl clam chowder, and the fish and chips are amazing!

Cozy place with comfortable bed, microwave, fridge, tv and a cute gas stove fireplace. Perfect spot for us to stay while friends were camping across the street. Good food also, get the fish and chips

Great experience. I stayed for one night, was driving down and ran out of physical energy, and the entire stay was quite pleasant.

Late summer visit. Had no reservations and we were dead tired. It was out of the fog we spotted this place and pulled in. Had a great meal then sat out front and enjoyed the view the fog had cleared. The rooms are decorated kinda quirky and very clean. Really a different experience from a Hotel 8. Next morning went to office to get coffee and met the owner. We sat out on the deck and had coffee and talked for about 1 hour. What a story he has. If its the same owner I suggest a visit with him. Turned out to be a memorable visit.

Amazing place to stay. Went to school with the owners son I found out while talking to him. Really nice gentleman that is well traveled with some extraordinary stories about life. The staff there were really cool and polite, felt like talking with people you have known all your life in a really laid-back environment. Plus the view there was extraordinary. Aside from us watching our tent on the campground across the street whip in the wind like a possessed contortionist hit with holy water during an exorcism.

Made a reservation here. When I arrive, older gentleman asked if I had a reservation. I told him yes I did. He looked it but didn't find it. I helped by showing him a print out of my reservation since signal is horrible here to use my phone. To start off he gave me attitude because my name was different on my DL. Wasn't very welcoming. We asked if there was a place to eat nearby other than the cafe on the premises. He acted bothered. Gave us the smallest room. Bed was worst than staying at your in-laws. In the a.m. They offered coffee and 3-day old danishes/bagels. This front desk guy policed the breakfast/coffee the whole time. Not much here. Pool is out of commission. Rooms are limited small w/uncomfortable beds. Might be more comfortable in my car. Never again.

Ate at the restaurant. Nice people and there was a little park area across for my kids to run around in. Equipment isn't in use but the grass was nice and view wws amazing. Kids had a great time.

Great place to stay! The owner is really awesome! Very friendly and super nice. No problems encountered at all during our stay.
