Ocean Fish & Chips., Sacramento CA

This is a awesome place. I am from the North East which is in Rhode Island and this is the best fish and chips I have had in a long time.

We received a warm welcome there was a good selection on the menu. The service was fast and the food was delicious.

Absolutely great seafood and service! We tried the fish and chips, calamari and fried oysters. I highly recommend this little gem!
We'll definitely be back when we visit from Utah again

The fish was hot, crisp, and so delicious. This is going to be my spot for Fish & Chips.
The ability to order a single piece of fish with chips is so appreciated; I'm not a big eater and this allowed me to get a portion that fit my appetite.

On my second lunch visit I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and it was fantastic.

This is clearly a small, family owned restaurant and they couldn't be more gracious, kind, and welcoming.
(I do wish they used something more sustainable than the styrofoam they currently serve dine-in on but I think I can understand their reasons.)

I tried the 2 piece fish and prawns and a crab cake. This order comes with fries. I don't know why I only had 1 piece of fish but, I didn't going back to say anything because I waited while my order was being cooked and I was ready to go by the time I received my food. The staff and customer service was very polite and welcoming. My fish was good. My prawns & fries were slightly overcooked and nothing really had any seasoning except for the crabcake. It had a little flavor but, it was more breading and seasoning than crab. It was just ok. Not bad, but not great. I'd like to go back and try other items on their menu. They did have a nice selection of foods to try. I like variety. Overall It's, a nice place to grab some cook to order fish or seafood.

Ocean fish and chips know how to cook some Fish! The batter was cooked perfectly. It was crunchy paired with crisp french fries. I have been looking for a solid fish and chips place and this is the spot. I recommend the 2 fish or 3 fish combo!

Great fish and chips! Service is always wonderful and fast. Everything is nice and crispy, and the onion rings are served in a pretty big portion.

Fish is lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. Same goes for the prawns. Onion rings are real breaded onions, not the flaked and formed kind. Only comment I have is that the Cole slaw could have some horseradish added but otherwise everything was perfect. Haven't had fish like this since H Salt Esquire closed. I will definitely return. I'm from out of town and will add this to my must eat places like Togos and Jim Boys.

Ocean fish and chip gives good service. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is excellent. I would recommend a lot of friends to try them the prices are reasonable

The staff were very friendly and my fish was prepared fresh. The very thin, long fillets are not what I usually associate with fish and chips. It resulted in the batter being as thick or more than the fish itself.

Great place to get a quick bite to eat. I had the fish & shrimp plate with fries. Great deal for a good portion of food.

Always flavorful, not greasy. We have been going here since they opened. They used to have true cod, but replacement fish is still very tasty. Fish & Shrimp Platter is my favorite.

REALLY nice people and staff, made me feel really welcomed and the food is honestly really good! I would go back and try more of the different food they offer:)
