I’m writing this review on behalf of my husband who is a patient of Dr. Vohra. Dr. Vohra is a very professional and knowledgeable provider. We have no complaints with his work; the front office staff including his assistant on the other hand are a completely different story. Let me first say how unprofessional and untrained the front office is. No sense of urgency, and no communication. My husband called multiple times to schedule an appointment following release from the hospital and that in itself was very confusing to the staff. Once we finally got in for an appointment, we needed authorization for any tests or treatment due to our insurance. That is when the extreme frustration began. We were told by Alè, dr. Vohras assistant that she would be handling the authos and once approved or not approved she would be notifying us to schedule future appointments. That didn’t happen. We called to check the status after over a week of waiting and the front office had no idea who my husband was and could see no authorization sent out to insurance by anybody. After speaking to multiple girls from the front office we were transferred to the manager who also let us know she saw nothing. She let us know the “authorization department” wouldn’t be back in office till the following week and that they might be able to find our authorization. The following week my husband called again getting the exact same unprofessional and poorly trained speech from front office. At this point it’s been weeks and the office can’t seem to handle anything of difficulty. Once the autho was received and approved he completed all the tests ordered by the Dr. Once properly diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff my husband was able to collect disability through EDD. That was a disaster, and his compensation was cut short due to Alè “thinking he’d feel better sooner”. She went ahead and adjusted his EDD claim on her own judgment releasing him to return to work. The fact that this office lets medical assistants make diagnoses for patients who haven’t been cleared/seen by the doctor himself is baffling. Extremely wrong and ILLEGAL. Stay far away from this place!

Dr Vohra was great. Explained everything and even called me 2 days after surgery to check on me. All staff in the office and at CMH were friendly and worked hard to put me at ease.
