Great place. Great location. Breakfast and great food across the street too.
Clean and nice pool and hot tub.

Rooms are clean, upgraded and well kept. Nice touch on the small amenities such as coffee, shampoo and conditioner, soaps, etc. There is an element of fun in it all. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Ideal location for Westside adventuring. Walkable to many good restaurants (Hacienda), coffee shops (Shrine) beach (pier and lighthouse) and even the Santa Cruz Arboretum! I liked it so much I booked 2 additional days!

Great spacious room incl fridge and microwave. They don't serve breakfast. Just a 5 min walk to the beach and 15 min walk to downtown. Friendly staff.

The staff went over and beyond during our extended stay. It was excellent when it comes to clean. The housekeeping was very accommodating and very friendly. The attended to details without asking. They equally recognized when something was needed. The manager and his office staff went above and beyond there duties to make sure we were well taking care of during our stay. We have stayed at various hotels in Santa Cruz CA this is by far the best hotel in the area. Very caring, committed staff.

Such a great place. Office is very helpful and always smiling. And in walking distance to everything. See you again soon

It’s decent a had troubles with the front desk but we figured it out and the rest of my trip was fine

Came down to Santa Cruz to visit some friends and stayed here for the weekend. Very good location, about a five minute walk to the beach and a spacious parking lot. Room is alright with a couple of notable issues. The biggest one being noises on the lower floors, at night I was awoke several times by people walking up and down the stairwell. The hotel seems aware and provided earplugs for the room, but really they should invest in better accostics. Secondly, the TV has a "clean remote" which does not let you switch inputs if you want to plug in a laptop or similar device as I did. I talked to the front desk and they said they could not give me the remote that came with the TV. Very disappointing. Bathroom was mostly clean but my partner noticed hairs on the floor that clearly did not belong to either us.

Overall a decent stay a lot more affordable than the air bnbs we looked at but could really improve in some aspects.

Made a reservation and asked specifically if we could come a day early. The man on the phone was super nice said it was no problem that we come a day early. We came a day early and no one answered at the window. For an hour we had to ride around in our car after a four and a half hour car ride. We came back a second time and clearly woke the office man up who had bed head who was clearly sleeping beforehand. He was super rude and denied us our room for the second day even though we had a reservation already. Told us rudely not to be loud and disruptive. DONT EVER COME HERE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! NOT COMING BACK AGAIN AFTER TONIGHT!

Location is great but the room is too bad. Microwave, wifi, and bathroom fan don't work. Ants everywhere. Won't choose this hotel again.

Best value we could find. Clean and comfortable and the location was great. We were able to walk to the Boardwalk. Would stay again.

Nice rooms. Hard bed, like that. Real close to the wharf. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

Terrible customer service. Maid didn't clean our room today so stuff were not replenished. I called the front desk and instead of rectifying this inconvenience, they inconvenienced us some more by asking us to pick up the towels ourselves in the front desk. Ridiculous. Bathroom is icky and dirty. When maid cleaned the other day, they still didn't replenished coffee, sugar & creamer. Jacuzzi are very dirty. Warning: It's also very noisy here so they provided ear plugs.

We are in Santa Cruz visiting family for Christmas. This 2 -room suite was perfect for my wife and I with our two 20-something kids. Annie, the young woman in the office, was so friendly and kind.even though she was working early Christmas morning. We are very grateful that there was "room in the inn" this Christmas Eve and morning.

Its a tad hard to find but everything is great here. Since I come to Santa Cruz often I've stayed here a few times with and without my dogs. Always been very clean, good price, nice staff. Close to a lot of great things downtown so I'd highly recommend staying here and will probably use again in the future.
