The wind calmed down at around 2 pm and after that it was a summer day at the beach
One of my favorite beaches to play volleyball at with friends. I love that it has parking lots, and tons of courts. And unlike some of the other beaches the sand is pretty clean/you don't go home with oil covered feet.

Excellent white sand beach volleyball courts with multiple parking lots. These courts are very popular among locals. It is free thus, its a first come first serve. If you're running a clinic, tourney or program you will need a city permit. Perry's Cafe and public restrooms are close by. Overall, its a great place to play beach volleyball.
