Oceanic Foot Spa San Jose reviews
13Very nicely appointed foot spa. Very spacious. More on the upscale side as far foot spas go. I was impressed. Very clean and tranquil atmosphere. Worth the price. This foot spa is priced very competitively. I feel you get more for your money here. Oceanic foot spa also offers specials on certain days of the week. Bring your business here. 2 thumbs up!
I've been going here for years now and I have never been disappointed. I prefer a more relaxing massage vs deep tissue. I explained this to Lucy just once and she has magical hands. It is nice to come in after a hectic week and she welcomes me and knows exactly the massage I need and I finally relax my body and brain. For me that is priceless. My daughter's favorite is Michael. He works out all her knots and sore spots. I've even taken my 11 year old grandson. He does Taekwondo and swims and his muscles get really sore from all the workouts. He ends up falling asleep and snoring. Watch for their specials and give them a try. I try to buy their package deals when they are available. Enjoy
Not recommended:
- the entire process feels so rushed and the actual massage time, i.e. The time the therapist actually did the work, was cut short.
- the therapist was not even trying and did not use any strength (even after being asked to).
Always my go to! Love Rita. She knows how to work out the knots! I always sleep like a baby afterwards. Thank you Rita!
Alex is really good, I received service from Alex twice so far, both of them are deep tissue, I feel very comfortable and dealing with stress, great job!
8/17/23 Update: I think I am done with this place. Their massage quality has been going down. I don’t want to pay for a half hearted service. On top they want a good tip.
I have been going there for a while now. They are one of the better foot massage places in Bay Area but therapists have been hit or miss lately. I usually get 90mins foot massage but I have noticed regularly that massage ends in 85mins. That is NOT OK! Going in and out should not be included in the time. 90mins should be purely massage time. Hope management will address this and I will increase my rating.
Just got home from my first visit to Oceanic and it WON’t be my last! I had a 90-minute foot massage with Jack and it was very good. I had many knots from doing a construction job this weekend and he found all of them.
The bathrooms, the whole place is so clean, quiet and professional. I met two different young women working the front desk and neither could have been nicer or more polite. I highly recommend this wonderful place. Can’t wait to go back!
Environment = Clean and relaxing. The front staff are welcoming and friendly.
For Deep Pressure Massage= Leo or Michael
For a mixture of deep and medium massage= Rita
Schedule your massage. They get booked up fast.
Love, love, love this place! Clean, comfortable, professional and reasonable rates. My husband and I come frequently and always leave relaxed and happy. Highly recommend!
Place is clean, no weird smells, and reasonable prices and good amount of masseuses to make a same day appointment
My husband and I went for a 30 minutes foot massage. The overall experience was decent for us.
There is something off about the tipping system here, first they don’t accept tips from credit cards or Venmo, you need to bring cash for tipping. Secondly, my husband left before me and tipped for both of us (and he forgot to mention that it’s for both his and mine therapist). After I left, I got a message from the center that “if I would mind tipping my therapist”, which kinda spoiled the experience of the massage, because who texts for the tips? I believe tipping is purely a clients choice and you tip (and tip generously) only if you believe you received a good service. Thankfully, my husband tipped on behalf of both of us, but what if I did not like the service of my therapist and the tip was only for my husband’s therapist? Would I still be obligated to tip?
I would need a convincing reason to go back to this place again.
Excellent service and very professional and friendly employees, I love their service I’ve been a customer Many many years.
