Great spot to camp in Ocotillo, full hook ups, nice big spots, pool to cool off in and hot tub to soothe the evening after a full day of riding. The clubhouse has Foosball, darts, and a cool chill area usually with friendly people/staff hanging out. Blu inn Cafe makes excellent food, NOT LIKE IT USED TO BE, Jason always has a smile for ya when you walk in. You've got quadstop and can am rentals available on site as well. Nothing bad to say about the place whatsoever

This resort is such a great place to stay. I grew up going to Ocotillo Wells dry camping. But it's nice to have resorts as options these days for many reasons.
They have a pool and recreation room to help keep the kids bust when we aren't out riding. I highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay! Park is well maintained and the staff is great. Had a hot water issue with my motorhome the first night, and a staff member gave us a few tokens to shower. Renovated pool area looks great, unfortunately we did not get a chance to use it. Great access to riding areas. We were there during the week and the Blu in Cafe/Store was closed, but when I called the owner was onsite and opened up the store for my boys.

This resort exists to support campers who recreate in the desert, and they do that right. Whenever we park our motorhome here with our side x side, we never have a single complaint. We recommend Ocotillo RV to all our desert friends

This place was awesome if you are going to the desert for a long period of time. It wasn’t super expensive, full hookups, nice spa and pool well maintained, cute little game room for the kids and nice and convenient to go riding the open desert. Would definitely go back. Laundry room was a plus as well. Loved that it was so quiet but it was also a pretty slow weekend

Spent 10 days there, turned out better than I imagined it would be! Super friendly and very helpful staff, reasonably priced Rv park. If you plan on renting an atv just for a day wee bit expensive, like 500$a day I think that’s a bit ridiculous, not sure bc I never looked into it before.that could very well be the going rate? Anyway very nice pool and hot tub, laundry lots of machines, showers.if I’m ever in the area again I’d go back

What a great spot in the middle of the desert highly recommended if you like having power when you're out playing with your toys. Having all the amenities is really nice. The pool was super clean and the playhouse was awesome. The staff is super friendly also. I really enjoyed firepits, they are a really nice touch to each site.

We spent the New Years weekend at this resort. It was my first time at this resort and in Ocotillo Wells. I will say this resort far exceeded my expectations. The resort staff was extremely friendly and responsive. There was a landscape leak that we discovered after 9pm, when the office closed, and I was able to connect with a staff member who sent someone to our site within 10 min. They continued to check up on us to make sure all was well. We will definitely go back to this resort. The place was very well maintained.

This is going to be long so just hang on! We used this place years ago under different ownership and it was awful. Horrendous actually. The new ownership has made a phenomenal difference that will keep us coming back and recommending this place to friends. Jason, Barbara and other staff are simply out-of-this-world amazing and represent the owners well. They are hospitable, friendly, welcoming, all the things! Just good, honest ppl that want to effect change. Love it!

However, they operate under certain constraints out of their control. My biggest issue is having to pay for showers and having to “check out” ping pong paddles at the front desk. How punitive! I understand totally what they are trying to accomplish but there should be the assumption that all guests will use all amenities no matter what and a system should be in place to make this easy for guests, staff and the site host. Having to trek over other main office and provide an ID to check out ping pong paddles is insane to me. Having to pay for tokens to shower when I’m paying $75 per night to stay here is even crazier. I beg you - take note from higher end resorts that have systems in place that give paying guests “free reign” of the amenities they are paying for by choosing your resort. A door code system, an electronic band system - anything! It’s 2022 - there are solutions out there. As it is, it’s set up in such a way that
I have to “prove” I’m “ok” to use the stuff in the rec room and to use the showers. NOT COOL! When I come here I want to feel catered to and I want to feel like I’m on vacation. I just do not appreciate the current system that is in place. If this is not possible then cut prices by at least 60% to justify your position on these issues.

I also do not understand why paying customers need to have their kids put those stickers with flying strings on their helmets. Quite simply this is annoying! No one is even up at the kid track monitoring activity or participants. Who wants stuff flapping in the wind behind their helmets? No one. Sorry but this concept is just dumb to me. Not being mean- just being honest. We comply but again, it’s a deterrent that will keep us from staying here often.

Again, my intent is to give the new owners honest feedback from someone who loves camping in the desert. I believe the new owners and management are committed to the riding community and this local region to be the best they can be! And I love that! We are so happy with this place you just don’t even know! Such a breath of fresh air. And the food at the restaurant is delish! We are so pleased and happy with this change of hands and look forward to more improvements as time goes on. Job well done! Keep up the amazing work. We are so thankful for Jason and Barbara’s commitment to the desert riding and camping family.

We've been visiting this resort for at least five years. The changes under the new management have all been positive. The resort was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. It was great to have the restaurant open with a great breakfast and lunch. The pool was clean and the spa was working, and it felt terrific after a long day of riding. My kids were too old to ride on the kid's training track, but it looked great. There used to be a sulfur smell to the water, but it's gone! Great improvements! Keep up the good work.
