It was simple and the compensation was helpful except it was a very low amount compared to when I donated before.

Great friendly service. Duke Street Octapharma is a lot better since they opened the new facility on University Avenue. I hear the other facility is just as good. I recommend you go donate, to make the world a better place. “God Bless”…!

Pleasant first time experience. The staff were informative and kind. The phlebotomist explained the process, how the machine works and were very attentive. The clinic was clean and well organized. From start to finish the donation process ran smoothly and organized.

FYI, first time donors expect to be at clinic approximately 3 hours. And always drink plenty of water and eat protein before and after donating.

Great experience so far been there 2 times and the girls have a great sence of humor witch I think it’s important when needles are involved

The only reason I'm giving them two stars is because the staff is wonderful. But as far as the payment system goes, its a nightmare. They use this payment card that charges for everything. So even though you're told you're getting paid $100, good luck trying to get money out of an ATM without paying a fee. Good luck trying to get cash back from a merchant without paying a fee. And good luck buying anything without paying the fee. So in effect, not only is it a headache to get paid, but you're not getting the full amount that they promised.it's a joke.

The best crew ever! I wouldn't go anywhere else even if my life was at stake. That's how much I love them there.

The staff remembered me after a 4yr absence from donating and that told me a lot about them that they actually like getting to know the donors that your not just looked at as a client but as a part of octapharmas family

How is it that I can donate plasma, gather points not be able to cash them out when I want too, what is this you are know limited when or how I can use what I've earned, what it's not enough plasma for your company, first you reduce out pay out by five dollars and know I can not cash my points this is ridiculous I fined it very upsetting. What's next only once a week

This place is fantastic. Super good energy all the employees are upbeat and positive and the nurse who did my intake was super respectful and asked if I wanted a chaperone in the room for the physical. I will always give my business (and blood) to those that understand people and treat people with respect and kindness. Also shout out to Mila she’s amazing and super positive!

I would never ever go and donate at this location. First they credit your card and then when I go to the ATM to withdraw it, all of a sudden the balance of zero it magically disappeared I called to talk to somebody at this location because I got nowhere with the bank and the people are telling me. Oh well it’s not my fault I strongly don’t recommend this company or their bank.

Octapharma has always been a highly skilled and (relatively) painless way to donate plasma. They're always there to guide you through the process and I can always count on them to take care of me.

Staff were cordial and provided excellent communication. The tec was so compassionate when working with me on my donation.

I've been coming here off and on for a while now. Very efficient and friendly staff. Definitely the best plasma donation center around. I will keep coming back as long as I am able.

Positive staff. Helped me when I was in a literal pinch. Clean facility. A little too positive for the mornings but I think that's my problem lol!:) will be back next week.

I had originally gave this place a five star review. Unfortunately, after the review Octa pharma's rules and regulations showed their true colors and top management could not or would not elaborate on the issues I had concerns with.
Octapharma Plasma Centers publicly markets a first-time donor's incentive program that pays $500+ for the first 35 days of the patients experience, which breaks down as follows.
1st donation (New) : $100.2nd donation.: $100.3rd donation.: $ 65.
Then $65 per donation for the first 35 days.
I went back for my third donation appointment, and when I got there, I brought a referral with me. I was to be paid an additional $75 for my bringing a referral. Well, someone came up with a new rule, halfway through my donation that my referral could not participate because of new "Federal" stuff and until the tech was called in too fix the issue with this new "Federal" thing, my referral would go home and wait for their call which never came.
On my fourth visit with this company, I was informed by them that they had misplaced the blood sample and I was obligated to give them another physical and blood sample.
I have been back to this place on two occasions and when I have gone in, their answer is always we haven't got the test back from the lab yet. So obviously this is a strong indication of senior citizen abuse and violation of our basic and fundamental constitutional rights. We did not violate any of their rules or regulations, on the contrary, I made it a point to have everything in line once I got to this place so that I can get in there and get out and get back home.
My knowledge and intelligence tells me, that myself and my referral basically were being I guess singled out. It's been more than 10 days since the last time I was able to participate in their program and therefore the bonus that they promised me in the beginning will never be able to come to light because of the way they run their business and basically cheated the customer out of what they're saying. I find this a fine line between false advertisement and discrimination.
So my advice is, one star, and I don't know why I did that. If anybody in the future reads this there's other places to go out there that pay more money don't lie to you, treat me with respect, and not just a cattle ear tag to get you through the door.

Always a relaxing experience and it’s nice to get paid to donate something that helps others. Reading thru the reviews is seems that any complaints are unfounded. If your healthy and have good eating habits and stay hydrated you should be in and out of there within an hour and even after the first incentive payouts if your donating regularly you can be at the tier level of $65 per donation. Seems like a decent payout making $65 per hour and helping many others who need the plasma to be healthy. Seems worth the time to be altruistic and make a little extra cash. Just my opinion.
