Odessa Grocery Inc, Valley Village CA

Used to be good for pre made russian food but over the course of last year that changed for worse. Also management don’t care about fact they sell you bad or out of date food. After complaining to director I got a sense that I’m the one who’s wrong “that typo Russian attitude” where you are blamed for mistakes of others. Anyway this place gotta be in trouble if boss has to work on cash register.

Cleveland, hands-down, has the best-smoked kielbasa, and so when I learned about Odessa, I was on a mission to see how it measured up. They did not disappoint! Grandma doesn’t need to send me my monthly rations any longer! However, I am disappointed in their bread selection. They don’t have a bread slicer, and two, they don’t have light rye bread. Overall, an outstanding Russian find!

Rude customer service to the point that we will never get back. Love this store and product selection- but this Soviet Union type salesman need to go.

They have horrible customer service. No one speaks english. They dropped some deli meat on the floor. When k askes to have a piece from a new piece they refused! HORRIBLE!

Pretty good Russian grocery store with a reasonable selection. Typically frequented by Russian-Americans, but all are welcome.

Always fresh groceries! I'm from Ukraine and there is so much things that I love because they remind me my life there) I'm in love with sirniks, mini pelmeni, kinder ice cream, and they often have fresh sorrel and sour cherries

Great experience shopping at Odessa Inc. I had to order everything via the phone due to inability physically get to the store. The staff was professional, helpful and courteous. They helped with choosing the correct products and described the selection at hand. The delivery to my door was expeditious and without any issues. All of the products were fresh and good tasting. Thanks for your help.

The owner paid top price for face masks to protect workers and client. I only wish all store owners are like this.

Awesome selection of deli and home cooked food at great prices. If you like to venture off the beaten path, this is the place to try.

Tammy authentic Russian food, bus variety of vegetarian and regular soups in the store. Pretty good line of produce. Will recommend Odessa to my friends!

In Deli section many products per weight. But no price labels on displays. I have to ask price for each item. Owners of the store avoiding display price per pound for weight-needed food- so customer get confused and disoriented when buying expensive items. Some pre-packed items have stickered price, but threre another trick. I pick several items to pay- one of the item stickered $2.99. But when cashier scan- cashier monitor display $4.49. So, stickers could be misleaded to allure you to buy. Price on stickers don't corelate with barcoded price on same item. Cashier scan barcode - and without noticed store will charge you higher price! You have to pay a lots of attention in this store- they practicing predatory sales tactics.

Bad cervice. The workers need to learn proper. I was there one time, they were so mean that I affraid to ask about smth. I never go that place again (

Sunday they are closed at 8pm instead of 8: 30, so need to be fixed here, or really close at 8: 30pm.

Typical Russian Deli! Good selection of typical Russian fare found at most of the delis in west hollywood.

Russian stores don't look like this as of 20+ years now, but I guess some people can get nostalgic. Nevertheless, my favorite russian store in Los Angeles. It's the cleanest from all of them and their food is always fresh. Yes, farmers cheese pancakes aka "sirniki" and other true-russian style foods are overpriced, but what you're gonna do if you have that craving.:)

Good and normative selection of korean foods. Nothing really jumped out but most of the foods I tried were average to just above average at best. Prices are a little high compared to SoCal due to less competition and higher demands. Would rather eat at a local Korean rest rather than coming here unless you have a bunch of ppl who cant decide on what they want.

Fantastic Russian grocery! Great food selection that hits your heart if your Russian, and their pre cooked deli food is amazingly delicious! I love this place!
