I have been to OEX twice in the last month. The first time we rented paddle boards, the second we rented the hydro bikes.
The customer service is awesome, very helpful, very quick. They are abiding by all Covid-19 rules and it felt very safe.
This was a wonderful way to spend time with a friend, remain physically distant, while enjoying the beautiful San Diego sights.
I will definitely be back, and they truly have my highest recommendation!
Also, if you are comfortable on a paddle board or kayak, but you have a friend/loved one who is not, the hydro bike is very stable and easy to ride.

Wonderful staff. They really want you to have a good experience. They make it easy and fast to get you going. With the pandemic they were all wearing masks and made sure anyone who entered or worked with them were too- appreciated that. Super nice staff, highly recommend!

I rented double kayaks with some friends over the weekend and we had a wonderful time! It was perfect weather, the kayaks were in great condition and extremely comfortable- over a super simple process.
We can’t wait to come back and rent the water bikes!

Friendly, quick service. Just wanted to rent a SUP for an hour or so, and they had me in the water in about 5 min from walking in the door. Recommended.

Very friendly staff, great starting point to explore the harbor. We went down the channel adjacent to liberty station, which took about two hours. If you're lucky you can see dolphins and seals being trained. Pretty neat way to spend a couple of hours.

Very friendly and helpful. Made us feel comfortable going out for the first time. Suggested different routes and helped us board. Would recommend to anyone.

Average. Didn't start out with the best customer service, but after he realized he was being a jerk, the cashier tried to solve the issue. Nothing special about the place, but we had a good time and may go back.

I picked up some really nice looking sun cloud glasses here, designer coffee cup and smart phone waterproof bag protector.

The Owner, Eric, told me about their rental services and I am excited to return to kayak and bike.

The Store has a large selection of paddle boards and paddles plus gear as well as the souvenirs and even sandals, hats and glasses.

Eric and his Staff are some of the most courteous and professional people I have met anywhere.

Highly recommend OEX.
