Oh Sushi reviews
16Customer service was top tier. Leti was very friendly and helpful. The rolls were superior from any other sushi I’ve tried. I stay in Tulare but I’ll def be traveling for my sushi now on. This place is a gem.
Food was a little bit pricier than when I first went there but the quality has definitely improved over time. Actually one of my sister and my's favorite lunch spots in Lindsay. And, the time I met the owner was pleasant too! Also had a nice server as well. Heart Attack is a go-to appetizer.
The sushi was fresh, made in a timely manner and surprisingly a lot better than all of the Visalia sushi places! I would definitely recommend trying this place! Forewarning: the menu is HUGE and sometimes certain rolls are not available, be prepared via their online menu!
Disappointed!
Had the shrimp tempura roll takeout. Presentation was unappealing. Rolls were laid flat, side by side with a thick brown sauce on top. No sesame seeds sprinkled on top at least. There was 1 shrimp stretched out on and rolled in “Panko” crumbs (not tempura batter) that was laid next to it. There was no crunchy shrimp tempura that I could see in the roll except for the shrimp tail sticking out of one of them. If there was it was soggy. Tasted okay but nothing like the Japanese restaurant in Porterville. Hope they try harder next time.
Went for dinner recently and it was ok but not great. It was fairly tasty, but the main portion was a little on the small side (for the meat), service quite slow and the gyozas had obviously been frozen.
Staff were friendly, but turned out to be the most expensive meal of my roadtrip, for the least amount of food. So left a bit disappointed.
Maybe just the dishes I got I didn't feel were good value for money, but probably wouldn't rush back.
Amazing food. Best sushi and meat I've had in a long time. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and the 911 roll. My significant other ordered the bento box with salmon. Ok so they have this sign saying wait times might be longer because their fish is actually fresh not canned or frozen. Let me tell you they live up to that sign. The freshest fish I've ever tasted! Like you want to melt eating their food. Everytime I go out of town or on vacation I make it a point to try sushi at a new place. So I've been around lol. There was only one waitress but she was super nice and kicked major butt serving. I will be back and definitely going to make this 2 hour drive next time I want great food!
Great menu and dishes are executed perfectly. Local family run restaurant with mellow atmosphere.
Oh Sushi is literally just so good! Every time it’s amazing and never fails! LA sushi chef bringing yummy food to little lindsay
Everything was literally perfect, super friendly staff, the food is incredibly fresh and almost melts on your tongue, i love this place
Hidden gem of Tulare County! This restaurant competes with the best Sushi/Korean establishments in Northern California. Extensive menu, quality ingredients and artistic masterpieces are brought to your table and are every bit worth the price of less than $20 per generous item. Great staff and plenty of big screen TVs with separate sushi bar next to Savemart.
Got the 911 roll. WoW! It was delicious Had a nice amount of cream cheese to cut down the jalapeño heat. Just a great roll. Would get again, but so many other rolls to choose from.
Not trying to bash this place because I always order the ramen and dine in for sushi but had my first to go order and I swear my 2 rolls I order were the size of one roll and my terayaki chicken had 5 dried up pieces of chicken and my terayaki beef bowl had 5 to 7 pieces of meat on top I mean their portion are way bigger while dining and it was 60 bucks might as well take a trip to habi
Been here before use to like I came in last Saturday food tasted utterly disgusting staff and servers were slow! Do not recommend!
Food was really good. Staff was really friendly. I ordered the chicken bento box and it did not disappoint me at all. Love how this is authentic Japanese food. Would definitely come back again sometime. As long as I have money of course.
Me and my dad went here as a late night snack well worth the drive, didn't take long for the sushi to arrive a very good place for sushi they even had ramen and udon. I really recommend this 5 stars
