Got here at 8: 50 PM. False advertisement. Don’t say you close at 9: 30 PM if the front desk staff refuses to seat us before 9 PM. OPEN sign was still lit up too. So annoying.

Ohgane is up the there with places like Gen BBQ. Ohgane in my opinion takes the number one spot because of the short ribs alone. They are pretty much perfect (sometimes they get fatty but hey 95% of the time they a hit). The brisket and seasoned pork belly are also stand out choices from the menu. Japchae all day! Would definitely recommend this place to others. On this particular visit the service wasn’t its best but usually they do a good job.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday, ordered first round along with fries for the kiddo. Took 3 rounds of asking for in order to get French fries. Some items were left off our order each time as well.

Food was good, but inattentive service and not receiving requested orders put a damper on the experience.

I went with five friends to Ohgane Alameda x Vons Chicken and tried out the Premium All You Can Eat (AYCE) menu. They had lots of different food choices, which sounded exciting. Most of us had a good time eating there, but there were a few things that didn't sit well with me.

They added Braised Short Ribs, Korean-Style Bulgogi Strew, Beef Small Intestine, Finger Meat, Duck, and New York Steak to the usual menu. I really liked the Braised Short Ribs, Finger Meat, and Spicy Pork Belly – they tasted great, and the place had a nice vibe.

But here's the not-so-good part: I got a bad case of diarrhea when I got home. I think it might be because of the wrap lettuces that came with the meal. Oddly, none of my friends had the same issue, and I was the only one who had the wrap lettuces. So, if you're someone with a sensitive stomach, you might want to be careful or skip the wrap lettuces altogether.

Went in late afternoon for all you can eat BBQ. Got a lot of push back that they do not serve single AYCE. This rule applies to their Oakland restaurant but not the Alameda one. When getting thru that discussion then offered a far off place at the bar. Requested a table and was told it was too plush for one person. Even though two were open. Walked out! Trabocco instead got my $50.00 dollars. Not good PR when a regular and supported the restaurant during the pandemic!

5 stars all the way across. Service is good. They don’t keep you waiting long. They have a call button and very attentive. Good value when you ready for kbbq

Ohgane is my AYCE kbbq restaurant of choice. I've sampled quite a few in the Bay Area and Ohgane takes the top spot for me. The overall ambience, comfort, space, ac, ventilation and service all adds up to my rating. Other locations may be lacking in any number of the above items despite having arguably marginally better tasting appetizers or meat, but taking into account everything else, Ohgane just does everything else better.

As it is located in Alameda South Shore Center, there is ample parking. The location is safe. Indoor is extremely spacious with many tables. Other kbbq spots can get crowded either at the restaurant or at the table where you're elbow to elbow with your party. The AC is on high so you're not sweating in front of the grill, and the vents are strong so you don't come out smelling like meat or eyes watering from the smoke. The staff are extremely attentive and are always around the corner to change your grill or take your next order.

There are various tiers of AYCE, each with increasing price, but the basic tier provides more than enough options for the general public. I have never tried the higher tier menu items before, so I cannot speak of the taste or quality, but I am satisfied with the basics. Pricing is fair, with weekend/dinner price at the mid $30s per person before tax and tips.

If you're new to kbbq, try giving Ohgane a shot if you're in the area.

Came with family, over all good restaurant. I was disappointed with the lack of an individual meal you could order on the side. Which is expected of Korean BBQ I suppose, but other places i've been to have had that option.

When we order pickup on door dash they always give us something wrong. The food is pretty good but always seems to be an issue at the register.

I looooooved bringing my family here. The staff was super nice and welcoming. We had a nice table for 7 of us in a semi private area.

The staff came to replace our grills in a timely fashion and considerate enough to warn us about a kiddo being in the path for hot grill removal!

The food was great, everyone enjoyed their AYCE. I loved the spicy pork but the second round for some reason was more fatty and messed with my stomach a little.

The kids had a great time trying all the new foods and learning about grilling. The AYCE sides were great too. Would have liked to see more variety in the sides but.they were good enough.

Definitely come here. It's great for a date or for big groups with or without kids.

The pony tail girl served our table tonight was like she hated her job so much that she needed to make the customers feel the same, gave us bad attitude and very rude. Will not pay another visit here again.

We went really late after a concert and the server was really nice. It did take a while to get seated (20-30min) which brought us close to closing time but the staff took care of us.

Meat is frozen, but acceptable fresh. Price I kind of expensive.

The room we were having dinner was not soundproof. There were only 5 tables in my section, the customers, who sat at the two corner tables, talked in normal volume but amplified by the poor room design, that the environment was Very noisy.

The service was really good. The only weird thing is that we asked for Forks and were given a plastic fork.

This is it. One of the best All You Can Eat Korean BBQ self grill restaurants in the bay area. $35 a person. My favorites are the beef short ribs, brisket, marinated rib eye (bulgogi), pork ribs and spicy chicken. It is nice they have other stuff available like seafood (shrimps, squid etc) and vegetables (bell pepper, zucchini etc.) Other dishes like corn cheese, white rice etc are also available. This was exactly what I needed today. Well done staff at Ohgane.
