Old Ranch Inn, Palm Springs CA

I cannot recommend this inn enough. The owners truly went above and beyond to make this place absolutely perfect for their guests. The rooms and the grounds are extremely clean. The beds are comfortable, the sheets and towels are soft, the decor is charming. The pool and lounge areas are fully stocked with fresh towels, sunscreen, rafts, water and ice. You can relax by the pool with views of the mountain while a fountain babbles in the distance. At night, unwind by the fire pit with a glass of wine. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. You are just a 5 minute walk to downtown! There are even bikes on the premises for your use. I have stayed here twice and will continue to stay here when I visit Palm Springs—it’s just the best.

Spotlessly clean, decent sized, comfortable room. Love the home touches. Very relaxing. Beautiful pool area. Enjoyed a quiet evening swim. Wish we were staying here for our entire time. Nice, short walk to the main drag for restaurants and shops.

Jason and Team are awesome. The Inn is beautifully appointed and maintained, with access to cold drinking water, as well as coffee and sunscreen. Our room was perfect for The Two of us, with a luxurious bed, and handy kitchenette. Definitely recommend for couples who want a relaxing, romantic getaway!

Stayed here for 5 nights in September in room 4. Parking is at the front of the hotel. Our room had a view of the pool and was nice and cool on our arrival. We had a small kitchen area with fridge, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee machine. Owners had gone to a lot of effort to make this room comfortable and welcoming. We slept very well. There was a small area out the back with a table and chairs where we ate breakfast in the shade. Sun loungers were outside our room with fresh towels every morning. There are only 8 rooms I think and it is an adults only Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stayand made friends at the same time. Location is within walking distance of eateries etc but the walk back in the dark can be tricky as it is unlit so use your phone torch. Would recommend.

I don’t remember ever giving perfect review before taken from the belief that there’s always room for improvement but my wife and I could not find anything they could improve on (a bit of a stretch but they could have a better iron lol). We strongly recommend this place! Thanks Troy and Jason!

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. A small yet extremely well appointed hotel just a short walk from the downtown area. Our room (7) was perfect. Very comfortable, immaculately clean and so quiet. Every day, the housekeeper came in and cleaned which was a nice touch. Fresh pool towels, sun cream and water and ice by the poolside. I’d highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

My wife and I just spent three great nights at the Old Ranch Inn. We loved the quaint, boutique experience. Troy and Jason were welcoming and helpful, always available for whatever we needed. The rooms are large and nicely appointed and it was great to be poolside. Downtown Palm Springs shopping and restaurants are an easy 7 minute walk (evening in +100F heat) from the Inn. We are already planning our next stay at the Old Ranch Inn. Brian & Michelle

Love this place.was close to Palm Springs hot spots but quiet. I had one of the best sleeps I've had in months- then walked out my door to a poolside lounge chair. Super cute rooms with everything I needed.mine had a kitchenette area and private patio area with a bistro table to have a quiet coffee. The whole property is peaceful and relaxing.the rooms are right next to the pool so you don't have far to go to get some sun. And you can walk to the Palm Springs shops and restaurants of downtown. I will definitely be back! The staff is very friendly and knows the area- they even had bicycles for guests.

Stayed there for 5 days. Great location near downtown PS. Clean. Comfortable. Very welcoming hosts. Would stay there again.

My partner and I had the most wonderful experience at the Old Ranch Inn. Troy and Jason (owners) are so friendly and strive to create the most comfortable "home away from home" typed atmosphere for their guests. The location of the hotel is stellar-walking distance to bars, restaurants and shopping downtown yet still peaceful. Spent an entire day working by the pool and could not get over the view of the mountains. Each room is unique and has it's own outdoor space which is great if you want to bring your dog along as we did (pet friendly)! Will absolutely be staying here during my next visit.

Such a perfect, quiet, clean get away spot. Our room was perfect and probably the best dog friendly place to stay in Palm Springs. Walking distance to the hot spots in Palm Springs! The inn keepers also go out of the way to make sure you have a great experience. Can’t wait to visit again!

We spent two wonderful days in this small boutique hotel. It was incredibly quiet and relaxing there, perfect for our 10th wedding anniversary. Everything was very lovingly furnished and incredibly clean. Since the reception is not staffed all the time, we checked in independently after communicating with the hotelier. Our room with direct pool access was very clean and modern with a large kitchen. There are enough, very soft and beautiful bath towels at the pool. The pool is 2m deep and so large that you can swim a few lengths. The hotelier is extremely helpful, we had a problem and had to call Germany, this doesn't work with our cell phones. Without thinking twice, we were allowed to use his.
The second night there was a problem with another guest who didn't want to stick to the agreed rest times. Since the hotel is very small, loud people can be very annoying. After a while, the hotelier came by personally (the hotel is actually not occupied at night) and asked the disturber of the peace in an extremely friendly manner to be more considerate of the other guests. We found that very impressive.
We recommend keeping the doors closed at night as Palm Springs appears to have a major problem with "bugs". But we NEVER had one in the room! We were also bitten by mosquitoes at the pool in the evening, so mosquito repellent is recommended in the evening.
