2Stay awaaaaaaaaaay they will make your experience horrible I worked with many escrow companies but I never ever had a bad experience like this
I recently purchased a business and through the process, had to work with ORTC as my title company. This isn't my first experience with them, but will surely be my last. Kristine Lopez, the supposed assistant branch manager appeared to always be too busy to take action. Throughout the entire process, there was never a proactive email regarding what's needed or next steps. Had I not taken the steps to reach out, we probably never would've closed. In fact, in funding escrow I had to first reach out to ask for instructions, confirm the amount to deposit, and then return to my bank again for a second wire because Ms. Lopez was too lazy to open the file and double-check her math.
And through all of this, she maintained a level of disregard and ambivalence, that frankly, is impressive.
Look, I get it. We're at a time where it's posh to hate your job and not giving AF seems cool. But if you're looking for a title company that actually did the work and provids service/support, avoid the Concord branch of ORTC like a bout of scurvies.
