Old Town Newhall Library, Santa Clarita CA

Such a beautiful Library. Went to take care of passports and was surprised what a beautiful place.

Newhall Library is a nice and clean area where you go and read a book, you can take some time to relax and feel the quiet and fresh environment inside NL, my favorite area is at the second floor by the books area, it's been a while since last time I came in but NL always brings me good memories. "Recommended"

This is a great library. The staff is very helpful and there is an excellent selection. So happy it is open again!

Such a great, quiet, clean library and community, has a great selection of books with great staff, even the social distancing method isn't bad but it would be better if we could still go to the library.

Probably the best library in the Santa Clarita area. The modern architecture of the building really contrasts the average library and does not make you think the word “boring”. Very big and spacious with lots of seating areas, which makes it an excellent spot for students to study. Plenty of parking is available.

Got the chance to set shop at Newhall Farmer's market today very nice unfortunately the Farmers market only allows crafters once a year for the holidays.

First of all I would like to begin by saying what an awesome and well maintained library Newhall has. Well deserved for the town. How ever it is quite unfortunate that I couldn't rate it 5 stars. The newhall library is a beautiful library and i love going to but it is quite unfortunate that a handful of your librians and other employees do NOT have the best customer service attributes and are not friendly for the most part. I have encountered many little issues with some of the employees at this library and i've been biting my lip about it for the longest but it's bit overwhelming now. I don't feel comfortable as i use to and that's sad, that I can't feel comfortable asking for help. I am not the only person who has felt this way. I have many friends and family that attend this library and are not happy about they way they are treated by the employees at this library. I hope everything changes because my kids and family are supposed to feel welcomed and happy not mistreated.

I wish libraries in L. A.had this type of architecture. Most of the ones built are contemporary eye sores. I have such architecture envy for folks in St. Clarita.

I like bringing my kids here to do their homework. However, there is no supervision in the children's area. The computer area designated for homework is always excessively loud and noisy and the librarians do nothing to keep the noise levels down. It's extremely frustrating when libraries are meant to be quiet places not play areas.
