Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, Chula Vista CA

To start, the order was given to us 20 minutes behind what they said would be the time. Later on, we realized one order of salad was missing. And to finally top it all of, my chicken and gnocchi soup didn’t even have any gnocchi but they did make sure to include a hair.

Veterans Day. You know they were swamped. And with covid-19? I went at the end of the day so you know the servers were so done with the day. I was treated with well above and beyond service than normal. I wish i remembered my servers name. He deserves the recognition.

Got here and there was a line to get in. It took about 45 to get our seats since we were a large group. Probably should also note that this visit was a Friday night visit so maybe a lot of people just got home from work and went here after. I can't speak for the other days if the wait time is going to be similar. The food was decent and we were able to get our food served to us close to 10 min. Probably because it was packed, but that is acceptable given the situation. Our server was pleasant. He was very professional and checked up on us and made sure we were satisfied with our food. All in all this visit was great aside from the long wait and the food was delicious. Also side note, they do have alcohol here, but didn't try their assortment of alcoholic beverages. Might try them next visit if we do ever have a get together or any occasion happening. Anyways, this place is a definite recommend from me. Enjoyed eating at this Olive Garden.

I rate chains between 1-3 stars unless they truly blow me away. If you are going to Olive Garden, then you know what you are going to get. This particular time was with a large group (11 people), and service and food was as expected; delightful, but took a bit of time. The previous time I went to this location; delight service, great timing, and food as usual. If you are looking for a night at the Olive Garden, this will not disappoint. If you are looking for an intimate Italian restaurant for that perfect first date or wedding proposal, you might want to look elsewhere. I will certainly visit this location and other Olive Garden restaurants again.

Been here two times. Dinner was delicious, and I also have purchased food to-go. Great customer service, and picking up my to-go order was fast and easy.

Decent food and service, but can be a little pricey for what you get. If you go during a promotion though it can be a great value.

Got seated fairly quickly. However it took about 15 minutes before we were even noticed. None of the staff acknowledged us at all. Another family gets seated across from us and the server immediately takes their order and continues to ignore our table. Finally managed to flag someone down to get us our drinks, only after i basically slammed my menu on the table and a server noticed i was tired of waiting. Finally when our actual server came to take our order she asked if we are ready to order and then immediately left saying she had to go help someone else. Requested to get a new server to take our order. Our original server heard then and said "i'll be right there" with a bit of attitude in her voice. Finally made her way over to our table and took our order, all while i can hear the frustration and attitude in her voice as shes taking our order. By far the worst service ive had at an Olive Garden, probably won't be coming back. Hopefully they turn the service around because right now they're at 0%.
