Olive Grove Park reviews
15I grew up right there on Cleeve Way and my dog chilli loves the place. I still reflect on all the good memories And look forward to the many more still to come
I like it, it is too small though, but it is in the neighborhood which makes it accessible
Beautiful nice park. I just don't like that people have there dogs loose at some point cause we'll example my baby is 1 and is scared of dogs and having one run up to her is not okay and having to see how owners laugh caus ethey think it cute. Well, it's not. Please also pick up after your dogs it is also a kids' park.
Really nice park. At times very quiet and serene, you can relax and listen to the birds, eat lunch, read a book... The people I’ve run into have always been polite and quick to smile.
Really nice park, plenty of parking. Lots of trees to have shade for a picnic or relaxing.
I play pickup here at least twice a month and the lights are always on super late! A top experience
Update, 2022: The basketball courts have been repainted and the cracks have been repaired. The hoops and backboards are still not the best to play on (see my previous review below), but it's nice to not be scared to break my ankles anymore.

I can only speak for the basketball courts here:
The basketball courts here aren't the best. One court has double rims and the other court doesn't. The courts are cracked and have major fissures and pits that can cause ankle sprains. Sand (from the playground) and other debris, like pieces of the court, is everywhere. This court just isn't very well maintained.
The main positive is that the courts have lights. Another positive is that there's a parking lot and the park is in a fairly quiet neighborhood.
Grew up going to this park. Good open space, walking path, and fields and courts for sports.
Lots of green grass and areas to have a picnic. There are picnic tables spaced out throughout the park. It has restrooms too.
Great for kids parties! They have 2 basketball courts, a baseball field and open grass area along with a playground and multiple benches. I take my son here all the time.
This place sells broken merchandise, is very overpriced, as well as offering next to nothing for anything your selling. If you want to get ripped off, go to book off.
Not a bad location, clean and well-maintained. Lots of off-leash untrained dogs unfortunately but great if you're looking to train your dog around distractions
Born and raised a block from this park and its just as pleasent and un-defiled as it was back then which is rare. Good job San Diego!
It's a little run down, however it is a safe and fun place to go. Alcohol is allowed here during the day. With that said, the park remains clean and well maintained. Basketball court, kids playground, baseball field, shaded areas, picnic tables, and places to skate around the field. Dog friendly area!
Nice park. Bathrooms could use more frequent servicing though. Watch for off leash dogs and the prizes they leave.
