Olives Bistro, Burbank CA

Dennis what a man! Soon as i walked in he made you feel you was surrounded by friends was only in area 2 nights but both nights spent here, was staying up the road but was using the bar. Whatever dennis is paid double it he a legend tho dont trust him with the stapler haha.

Stopped in while on work travel and I immediately felt like I was in a scene from Cheers (where everybody knows your name, and they are always glad you came). Dennis is amazing and was so friendly and welcoming and personable. He really made my little journey out to find a cocktail and a yummy meal PERFECT. Would highly recommend! Next time I'm staying at The Safari, I will b-line it back across the street to the Olive Bistro Bar. Oh! The Baked Rigatoni was amazing.

Hidden gem. We were staying at the hotel and decided to check out the bistro for breakfast and the food was definitely delicious! We had the crab benedict, California benedict, and cinnamon roll French toast. Wish I took pictures but we were hungry and dug right in. Our server Vivi was awesome as well. We're excited to come back to the bistro next time we're in town to have breakfast again and try the dinner menu.

My son and myself came here for dinner and love the food. The Bistro Ravioli was amazing. Then for desert we had the banana chocolate mouse OMG! Phenomenal! Thank you for a wonderful dinner with great service. Thank you!

Amazing food. So tasty and good prices. Breakfast food is very flavorful. My family and I were staying at the hotel and received a discount coupon here but was unable to use it because it was dine-in only. That was not on the coupon rules.

I'd never known about this place until recently. My aunt and her family found it and decided to make the place for our relatives to meet for a small get together; for dinner, breakfast, and light meal before going home. It's a really charming place with a chilled atmosphere, and the food was really good. I ordered the shrimp and pesto pasta, which was good, and sampled Olive's Meatloaf which was really quite delicious. I'll have to remember to get that for my next meal if I ever come around the area again. And breakfast was equally filling and delectable, with Crab Benedict. I also want to highlight their dessert selections are really exceptional; particularly there chocolate banana mousse cake and cheesecake. And following it up with coffee by the end of the night really hit the spot. All of this was showcased well by the friendly servers who were patient and generous towards us during our time there. I'd definitely recommend Olive's Bistro as a great casual eatery for small get togethers for it's relaxing atmosphere, good food, and friendly service.

The service was very slow especially since I was the only person there. The waiter didn't know the menu, and didn't offer to refill my water. The fish in the fish and chips was good, but not worth price or poor service. That was my first and last time eating there

Worst experience! Read a lot of good reviews about this place so my family and I decided to try it out when we were in town. Server was very friendly but the food was nasty. I ordered the shrimp pesto & o stopped after the first bite. The shrimp smelled so bad and tasted rotten and the juice from shrimp went into the pesto pasta and the whole dish tasted and smelled like it. Immediately went to bathroom and throw it right back out. Not recommended at all unless you’re looking for food poisoning.

Overall pretty decent. I wish the salmon had been a bit less cooked, and the rice and veggies were pretty basic but not bad. I think it’s a bit pricey for what it is but the Ahi crostini appetizer was actually really good and tasty. Service and greeting was nice and attentive. We came to study as well and they didn’t rush us away.

I love this place. The food is good and the place is quiet. Servers are friendly and efficient. Very clean.

I've been here a few times now and I highly recommend this place! Besides the food being delicious and I keep trying new things, the staff is incredibly friendly and overall awesome! Dennis makes fabulous drinks and always willing to offer a suggestion when I'm not sure what to get. All the staff are very personable and they make you feel welcome and are all excellent! I love this place and highly recommend it. Also, the customers are super nice, some appear to be regulars. It's just a really nice place to stop for food or drink! I'm glad I discovered it!

This is a very underrated restaurant. Most of the food that we got was really good. The service was great, even though it seems that there is only one guy working.

Price is fair with the amount of food that you get. The only thing that is not 100% was the chicken picatta, sauce was more fettuccine and not a strong lemon/garlic flavor.

Will surely come back again
