I used to love this place before the pandemic and would drive 40 minutes just to go. I loved this place, especially for their wet room with the ice bath. Great for muscle recovery.

Just tried to go back today and learned a lot has changed. They no longer have nails, waxing, and the restaurant has been closed. The most disappointing thing was that they no longer have general admission. You now have to book a service in order to get entry. With the increase in the cost of services and 20% mandatory tip, I feel it's no longer worth it. It's really sad, but I must say goodbye as it's no longer the same place it used to be

This place is amazing. First time and will absolutely be back. The amenities are great and the service providers are great. The only thing I would prefer is to enforce a stricter no phone policy or have a specific designated area for phone use.

This is not a regular day spa anymore - you are required to either book a treatment or buy a membership that starts at $400 / month. Prices for treatments look kinda beyond with a 20% gratuity now necessary as well.

I love this place. Got the milk and honey spa with my bestie. 85 minutes of pure bliss. They clean you from the rootie to the tootie and a facial to boot. Love it.

I have been to Olympic Day Spa for years. Since Covid, they closed their restaurant, which was a big disappointment. They also converted their Mugwort bath to a saltwater bath, which is really just plain water. My swimming pool at home has more salt than this small tub has, so it's really not a saltwater bath. But the alarming thing is that since Covid, they increased their prices dramatically, and now they are demanding a required 20% gratuity for all therapists. I visited last week with my daughter, and both of us received 85 minute massages that were not up to par. My daughter's therapist didn't touch her feet, and my therapist didn't spend the extra time on my neck that I requested, twice. She basically just stuck to her standard 85 minute full body routine she's accustomed to providing, and didn't take my request into consideration at all. Min, the front desk manager, insisted that I still pay a 20% gratuity to each therapist, which would have been $64.00! When I told Min that a 20% gratuity wasn't warranted, and I wanted to give a smaller gratuity (which as far as I'm concerned should always be the CUSTOMER'S discretion how much to tip), Min told me that I would "never be allowed to come back to the spa again". As I said, I've been going to Olympic Spa for years and Min has always been unfriendly and condescending to all the guests, but this was above and beyond the usual bad customer service I've received from her. Front desk staff (especially at a spa) should be warm, welcoming, friendly and provide good customer service. Min is rude and condescending. My friends who have gone here for years, have also had similar experiences with Min and hate having to deal with her. She really ruins the happy relaxing vibe you should leave with, when you have to deal with her at the end of the experience. But seriously, BANNING me from returning because I refuse to be forced to give a huge tip for subpar service?

THIS IS EPIC. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! It has changed a bit, for the better. I would love to see the restaurant back in business. And the mugwart tea pool. Excellent service, Clean, Covid guidelines. They have upped the prices, considerably. Be aware?

VERY clean. Receptionists were quite helpful explaining how things work, etc. I had the Nirvana Hot Stone along w/ extra reflexology and it was pure bliss. The steam rooms were steamy and hot tub, hot.the cold room could have been a bit colder - 61* isn't exactly "cold". Only down side is how expensive it all is. Yes, you can " join/become a member, " but regardless, I still don't have $300+ each time I want to pamper myself. This visit was from a friend knowing how badly I needed some pampering. I'll definitely come back when I have extra $$ to do so.

This was an incredible experience.
I cannot tell you the joy that I fell in really prioritizing what it meant to do self-care. A delightful experience on my LA trip for my birthday!

OMG this place is amazing! I was looking around places in my neighborhood for a fairly priced one hour massage. Most of the places I found, were either expensive or not nice looking on the inside. My friend referred to me Olympic spa in Walnut Creek, and boy did they do not disappoint. Olympic spa is renovated, extremely clean, and filled with great masseuses. My friend and I came in for a one hour full body/foot massage. Even though a little pricey, the experience was amazing. The masseuses were well knowledgeable and listens to our feedback, and the massage was amazing! Definitely worth the money for this experience. My masseuse, Yuki, was very amazing and massage with great pressure. We even opted for the hot stone treatment which was so luxurious! Olympic spot is my new favorite massage place, and I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family! Can't wait to be back.

Spa no longer offers dining/meals and encourages you to order food through UberEATS. Also, they do not have a cover fee so you must buy a service in order to relax. Amenities were fine, but nothing special.

This is some kind of heaven, truly.

I have been going here for almost a decade, so I’ve seen many changes over the years. Since the pandemic, the spa is only open to people who book treatments or have a membership. I was a bit sad to hear about this at first since it used to be a lot more affordable to just access the spa, but decided to visit with my mom anyway.

I booked a shiatsu massage treatment with Hannah, as did my mom. It was so wonderful, I cannot begin to express how rejuvenating the whole experience was. Not just the massage, which was also amazing, but the facilities too. Before, the spa was packed with people, and unfortunately not very peaceful. Now, it is incredibly tranquil, and the remodeling they have done is really incredible.

They have a new ice sauna, veranda, complimentary snacks. It’s really such a treat.

I cannot wait to come back:)

Use to be my place to relax in total peace! Now it's very loud very hard to relax in quiet. Front desk has no control over the loud talking laughing etc. Its really sad!

This review is split into two sections: Pre-covid and Post-covid.

Pre-covid: ABSOULTELY AMAZING. This place gives all other spas a run for their money. The mugwot pool alone is enough. Very clean, great food, friendly staff. You can't beat the price. I adore this place. I cannot recommend enough. (5-stars)

Post-covid: Glad they survived because I thought they were gone. Still a cool place. Clean and all that but.the mugwort pool is gone. Also, it's now working on memberships (not a big deal). Also also, you have to get a scrub if you're not a member. You cannot just walk in, pay, and have access to the pools (<- this is a problem for me). You have to get a massage package. There's no food anymore. They say it's closed, but that's one step away from it being nonexistent. (2-stars)

I was excited to take my mom here for the mugwort pool, but we good. No offense to the staff and their services but there's other spas.

Pre-covid I went to Olympic spa almost once per month. It's a wonderful place, and it being women only really helped me relax and feel at ease at all times. My review is not based on the quality of the facilities and service I experienced, as it was lovely then. They are requiring customers to show proof of vaccination, and continue to do so despite mask mandate being lifted, most bars, venues, and spas lifting vax requirement as well. When I called to ask when they would lift this requirement, the receptionist told me "when covid is no longer a problem, " lol. So I guess never? They did say a test would suffice, but when I asked if they meant an at-home negative test, they said no, it must be PCR. PCR tests are rarely covered by insurance, and they cost $150 out of pocket at my local urgent care. Essentially, Olympic is barring people who have chosen to or cannot receive a covid shot from enjoying their facilities. This is despite the fact that vaccinated people are contracting and spreading covid-19 at a similar rate to unvaccinated. I'm writing this review in the hopes that management will read it and rethink their policies.

Anyway, after reading reviews below, it looks like Olympic of the past has changed now, including its pricing system and they eliminated the mugwort bath and cafe, two of the most restorative features. Then again, times are tough. Can't blame them I guess. Sad: (
