Mark did a fantastic job fixing our rocking chair! He was communicative and completed the repair really quickly. The chair is fully restored. I would definitely return to OM Furniture Repair!

Mark did a wonderful job repairing the caning on my rocking chair.
He fixed the oak, refinishing, the stained it. I was very pleased with his work and would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I feel for the money paid the work was not up to par. I am very disappointed. I paid $250 for Mark to basically glue my drawer back together and further damage it. When I retrieved it from him, there was a huge chip on the corner that wasn't there before. I believe this is damage he caused during the repair. Some of the areas he glued were not flush and you can see the wood is splitting in some areas. Also, when I put the drawer back into the dresser, it doesn't close all the way. When I asked him about it and he said it's a piece of junk modern furniture, not an antique. I told him it is real wood and a family heirloom that means something to me and my family. He told me he doesn't deal with emotion but with business only. He told me he is not going to give me any money back, and asked me to drop the drawer off and he will see if he can fix the areas I'm not happy with. I'm not sure I want to go back to him considering how rude and insensitive he is. I cannot recommend him.

Mark did a great job re-canning the backs of 3 of my grandmother's dinning chairs which I am going to send to my daughter who has moved to North Carolina and needs a dinning room set. The three chairs he repaired now look like the other 5 chairs in the set. He did this for a reasonable fee and got it done about 3 weeks earlier than the estimate and delivered them to our house on a Saturday evening. Great service.

Mark did a fabulous job on repairing my very special antique table. He also was very responsive about returning calls, coming to my house to look at the table and ultimately returning it after he was finished.

Mark did a fantastic job repairing the cane webbing on my bentwood chairs. He did it all well within the quoted time of one month and the quality is impeccable. Great service, thank you!

Guy was really rude and weird – he didn't even listen to what I needed doing, kept interrupting, then tried to push me into having him come give an estimate (apparently he charges $120 for the privilege.) Definitely finding someone else.

Mark did a great job replacing the cane seat on our 1930es armchair. It looks beautiful. He also reupholstered the seat cushion that belonged to the chair, replacing the foam. The job was done in a timely fashion and mark delivered the chair to our house. We would recommend
him and use him again.

I had a small repair and had a very nice experience with timely communication and interaction, despite the small financial size of the transaction. OM beat the turnaround time that was quoted to me to complete the repair. I would not hesitate to call back OM for a larger job.

Do not waste your time. I was shocked at how rude and unhelpful the owner of this business was.

I called to make an appointment for an estimate. I had read about the fee, and we were perfectly willing to pay $120 for an estimate. I understand that this takes time. However, the person who answered the phone would not even schedule an appointment. He said, “I am very busy. You will have to call again next week or the week after. ” I said I was willing to wait and asked if I could at least get on the schedule. “No. I am very busy. ” He then ended the call.

With that kind of attitude, and complete lack of customer service, I am surprised that he is busy. I do not need to waste my time or energy and am going to find someone who actually values me as a customer and wants my business.

Mark at OM just refinished a vintage teak nighttable that was heavily water-damaged. It looks brand new, the finish and color are just perfect. He is an artisan, has 25 years experience, and is a very nice person. Very easy to work with him. I am immensely pleased with his work and recommend him highly for refinishing of your treasured pieces. Will certainly use him again. Thanks, Mark

Don't bother. Awful and Rude!
Called for an estimate. Ot home service fee for an estimate is $120. Or told me to bring furniture in to the shop for free estimate. Said no time to look at photos. And too busy for "charity".
Since when a potential paying customer is viewed as charity? Do not waste your time with this business.

Mark and OM Furniture Repair made my scratched and beaten up 15 year old cherry wood bar stools like new again. Mark completed the job on time and the quality of his work was outstanding. I highly recommend him for furniture repair.

I found an old Secretaire in a yard sale, it was in such bad state that I got it for free. I was not sure if it was worth even trying to repair, but I liked its shape, and from online researches it looked it could well be more than 100 years old, so I looked for furniture repair. I found OM and talked to Mark about it. We made a deal and picked it up two months later, completely repaired as agreed, and looking gorgeous! Reasonable prices too.

I live 2 minutes driving away from this guy's shop. He said it's $120 to look at my couch and give a cost estimate. Not clear about pricing, it could cost $1000s, he couldn't say otherwise. It's a waste if money if he can't be clear about anything or spend 5 minutes to tell me. I would advise not wasting your time calling him.

Had a dining room chair that needed to be repaired. Mark picked it up, fixed it, and delivered it back all within 2 weeks. Very satisfied with his work, his professionalism & his value.
