This place is a joke they offer me 24$
For a stroller a sit up chair and swing and cloth all in good condition

Went in to this location a few days ago with about 10 pair of mostly brand new shoes still in boxes my daughter barely even wore them they gave me $40 bucks (lol) I drove from Stockton just to put that back in my gas tank an when I looked on instagram they where selling one a pair of shoes I sold them for 25 dollars an gave me maybe 3.50 for the shoe I would rather donate to a women’s shelter or a group home before I ever sell them anything if I could give them a 0 start I would an from what I heard while I was in the store the workers don’t give you full money or credit for the items because they take them home for their family an friends very bad for business

I'm very unhappy with my selling experience at Once Upon A Child in Tracy. I dropped off 2 large bins of clothes, toys, and books to sell at this location. In the bins were a few dozen two piece outfits that were folded together to show the outfits were a set. After returning home and looking through what was left, I was shocked and disappointed to see that every single two piece set was missing either the shorts or the shirt. Why in the world would Once Upon A Child separate every single outfit and leave me with a partial set? Furthermore, I had two Mr. Potato Head sets with a gallon bag full of pieces. Once again, Once Upon A Child left me with one Mr. Potato head and bought all the pieces to go with the heads. What am I supposed to do with a Potato head with no pieces? This experience not only left me with missing pieces, but they cost me money. I definitely will not be returning to this location!

I’m never going to come here again. First & last time. I took a half box of 3-6 month clothing my son only wear a couple times in decent condition some where clothes he never wear & they wanna give me $22 & looks like the workers didn’t pick out the clothes they thought was good condition. Never again!

Staff was absolutely lovely and all items were in beautiful condition.loved coming here will be going again.

They are a rip off! Don’t take your items here they will literally give you like $6.00 dollars for an item that cost well over a hundred bucks and sale it for $75 y’all should be very embarrassed and I don’t need you to reply back to me because this was my experience your better off giving it away to a church or someone in need other than have them rip you off also the wait time is insane two plus some hours…. This store is overpriced in items as well look at the tags it’s almost the same price as the store and most are USED you might as well buy it new… No I would not recommend to family and friends save yourself the headache…

The staff were very friendly and explained me what kind of toys were accepted. You don't get a big amount of money but at least I know somebody else will enjoy these items

My experience selling at Once Upon A Child last week was great The staff was super nice and I received a text message letting me know my buy was done which was great because I didn’t have to wait around wondering when it would be done. The offer was fair considering all I had to do was drop off a box and then pick up my money! No hassle and excellent customer service! Thank you!

No receipt provided when selling! I have bought and sold to several different Once Upon a Child stores here in CA and IN where we lived before. I have always been provided a receipt that included a breakdown of what I sold to the store, so I could see what I was being offered. As we recently moved to the area from Fremont, I decided to try this store. I brought a box full of toys, jumper, walker, diaper bag, basket of clothes, baby bath and boppy. I was told 2 poeple were ahead of me and it would take 1-2 hours. After waiting 2 hours, I asked in a polite way about how much time was left for them to complete my sale. They couldn't provide a time but advised my items were tagged, but they just needed to scan through the system to see how much they'd offer. They said they couldn't buy the boppy or baby bath because they weren't BNIB. When they ready to check me out, I asked to confirm they were taking the walker and jumper. They said they did not and would review those immediately. They asked me if they check out another customer while I was waiting, which I said was ok. They offered me $96 for all of the items I brought, this seemed consistent with what I brought in and what they were wanting to buy. I signed the receipt and after receiving the cash, I asked if they could provide the receipt or breakdown of what they offered for items they purchased from me. They said once the transaction closes, they were unable to look. I asked what they gave me for the walked and jumper, they said they did not know as rhe transaction was closed. They said they could go through as if working another sale which I agreed to as this appeared to be the only option. The jumper was gently used and they said they gave me $20. The way the employees were acting during this time just didn't sit right with me. As mentioned, I have sold to several stores before and had always been shown a breakdown of what was being purchased and how much for each item. This seemed very dishonest to me.

Learned about this place last year and I was very excited because I had a lot of babies stuff that Goodwill wasn’t taking. I usually give them to family/friends but eventually that wasn’t an option for me to use anymore.
So learning about this place was a great alternative and happy to get a couple bucks for them.

Fyi, they do pick through the items you bring to the store so don’t expect that they’ll buy every item you brought. My last 2 visits, they’ve been way more busier than my previous trips, so they’ll have you fill up a form and call you once they get through with it. But you’ll hear back from them before the day ends.

Why I just put one star is because when my son was born I was able to find a few clothes for him size preemie clothes are hard to find but when it comes to giving your clothes for $$ is ridiculous those staff in Tracy don’t know anything about material nothing that has to do with clothes I had took new clothes and used clothes that he barely used and a lady said they were in bad condition and stain please come on explain how they were in a bad condition when some aren’t used they are NEW! And the clothes I took are expensive and you only take one shirt and give me. 30$ they are a waste of time if you want to get cash or baby items worst place to go the employees don’t know what they are doing they didn’t even check his clothes just pick and call you.bad expensive

Absolutely terrible experience. They list everything they say they accept to buy. It says they pay you cash on the spot. We showed up to sell a few items and they never called us to tell us they were done and it was almost 3 hours before they got done “evaluating” everything. They offered us $6.25 for one thing. That’s all. It took more than that in gas to drive here. Wasted a whole day and lost money. Never will return to any location.

Bad experience we took some of our daughter's dress in excellent condition we were very excited and thought they would give us good price but they didn't even nearly close what we have paid for and also I compare some of the dresses what they are selling for in their store were way high. It is like if you bought worth of $50 dress they would offer you $1 and some change ridiculous and they would sell it for may be $20.

As a customer, this store is a good place to look for used items if you're on a budget or just smart with your money (kids grow out of clothing very quickly).
I went in in hopes of selling a box full of baby girl clothes and shoes in great condition, a baby brezza warmer, and foam play mat. I dropped off the stuff and they said it'll take an hour. I asked them to give me an offer while I'm there and they said they can't do that. Really? Sure they can.
I'm not dumb, they do that because the more time you invest in the process the more likely you'll just take whatever tiny offer they give you. So I went back and took my stuff. Decided to donate it to Goodwill instead.

I'm new to this store, just found out about it recently. I love the deals here. I would say this is like an upgrade to thrifting items for infant, toddlers, and children.

Decent prices on most items. Good place to trade in your children's gently used items. Use to pay out better before but now it seems that they pay out is way low. Took in a $200 item and only got offered about $25 for it and then they turned around and put it on the sales floor for a little under $100. Seemed unfair. I get they have to make a profit too but they could have given me double of what they gave me and still made double of what they bought it for. And has happened a few other times. Other than that it's been a good experience. All the ladies that work there are very nice and always helpful. Great customer service. Would recommend it to anyone.

This store is so well stocked and pretty organized. The staff are very sweet and helpful as well.

This is our favorite Once Upon a Child store in the area! We regularly drive 45 minutes just to go to this store! We love buying and selling items here—they always have the cutest stuff for our daughter!

These items are old and the management charges as if new.
