Alex was great! He was as friendly but very professional. I’d be happy to have him work on my unit again.

Sept 14,2023 (update) : According to the message you will hear when calling this business, 1-Hr has apparently closed and is no longer in business. They have referred (sold?) our account (and maintenance plan) to a company called Sierra Pacific Home & Comfort Services, who will supposedly honor the maintenance plans. We are sorry to hear that, as we have been longtime 1-Hr customers. We hope Sierra Pacific is a good business to work with.

2020: Humberto is an excellent technician, and all around good guy. He has provided excellent maintenance service on our system for several years, and is always courteous, on time, honest and professional. We trust his judgement and his advice. We will only call 1-Hr if we need heating or AC work.

I have been with this company for a very long time and thought they did quality work and provided great customer service. Things have changed drastically this year. I called in June 2023to have someone come out and look at my A/C unit that was replaced in August of 2020. A tech came out and found a possible leak. He topped off the Freon at no charge, which I appreciated since it was still under warranty. Another tech would have to come out and perform a leak test. The Tech came out about a month later and then I was told they would need to come back to be able to see where it was leaking. The last tech found the issue and a part (coil?) would need to be ordered and replaced per the Tech at no charge since it is covered under the warranty.
I have called several times and have yet to receive a call back to find out if the part has been ordered, when is it expected to arrive and when will it be put in.
On one of the calls the gentleman I spoke to said that they were very short staffed and that's probably why I have not received a call. I understand be short staffed but is that a good reason not to return phone calls?
The last time I called, Osvaldo said he would send another message to the Dispatch Supervisor and escalate my message to the Service Manager. That was a week ago and still no call.
I think they just want to me to give up and go away so they don't have to pay for the cost of the part.
I have noticed that others have been having the same issues and the only ones that get a reply are the positive reviews.
I am a patient person but this is beyond ridiculous. When my A/C went out 2 years ago they were on top of it to sell me a new top of the line unit but now that it is costing them money they don't seem to care at all.
I cannot recommend One Hour Heating and Air and I would give them 0 stars for their customer service. Very disappointed on the quality of service I have received especially for being a long time customer.

The serviceman Jedidiah was very friendly & professional. He explained everything he did. I've used One Hour Heating & Air for many years. They have done well by me.

I’m like everyone else that have been posting horrible comments about One Hour heat and Air. I had Alex come out on August 7 to find a Freon leak. Added Freon and some dye and was told he would be back in two weeks. One week later, I noticed the AC not cooling the house so I called three times last week and then again today which is the fourth time with no response from them. So I guess I got scammed out of $360? What’s going on over there, are they going out of business or what? Called Bonney plumbing, heating and air this morning and have an appointment on Wednesday. I’ve heard good things about them. I’m firing One Hour heat And Air and if I have to I’ll take them to court to get my money back.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We had Jedidiah come out and check on our unit that they installed less than a year ago since it had stopped working. He let me know that there was good and bad news about my situation. The bad news is the part was out of stock and would take 5-7 business days to come in. The good news was that it was under warranty so not additional cost to me. He lets me know that someone will be in contact with me about coming back to install the new piece. Six business days later I have to call to see fi the part is in and when they can come out. They let me know it was in stock and they could come the next day to install it. Jedidiah comes back the next day with the new piece and goes straight upstairs to install it. He comes down and mumbles under his breath that it was going to be a $815 charge due to it not being under warranty anymore. I am confused seeing the unit they installed was less than a year old. He described the part that needed to be replaced as a "lemon" defective piece. So how is it my issue for the $815 bill now? I have reached out to the office since he left last Wednesday to have someone explain to me as to why I needed to pay this bill now. They let me know managers were out of office but I would be the first call the next day. Here it is 5 days after my service and first call and I have yet to have someone reach out to me about my calls. I have been calling multiple times a day getting told the same thing. They left a voicemail and sent an email escalating it to the managers. I am getting the run around and can't even have someone explain to me what happened. I have also had this problem last year when the new ac unit they installed wasn't working. No one returned my calls for weeks. Im not sure what this business is doing other than taking peoples money and not returning a call. I am so disappointed in their service and lack of respect for their customers. I have nothing but bad things to say about this company and will not be shy to warn people of their negligence towards their customers. Hopefully this will get someones attention to give me a call back after my 7 calls alone today. Worst customer service experience ever. Be warned!

Technician Jedidiah provided great service with the maintenance of my air conditioning system. He was friendly and professional and answered all of my questions very well. He explained everything that he was doing during this maintenance service, as well as all the tests he ran. It was an all around great experience with One Hour Heating and Air.

My experience the last year has been horrible. They installed a brand new unit less then a year ago and when they came 2 weeks ago to check out why the a/c wasn’t working properly they told us it needed a zone board and it would be covered under warranty. Jedidiah came back after I called to see if the part was in and they scheduled a time to install the part. He came in not saying a word and when he told me he was finished and checked that the unit was now working he told me I owed $815.00. When i questioned him he mumbled something about the vendor stating it wasn’t under warranty. Basically I knew not to ask him more questions so I paid the fee. When he left I tried to contact the office to speak with someone who could hopefully explain why I had to pay the fee when my unit that I bought through them was brand new and why nothing was mentioned to me at or before the time of service. Here we are several days, and phone calls later nothing… still waiting to hear from a “manager”. Don’t ever do business with this company and I will be canceling my “membership”.

I was told that Alex would be back on the 16th to check the dye he put in the system a week ago, to find the leak. Instead I got Jedidiah, who had earbuds in the whole time and barely spoke to me. He only did a maintenance check and said, when asked about the leak, that Alex would be contacting us to come back and check the dye. Useless, why do maintenance on a system that you are supposed to be figuring out the problem on? !? Still waiting to hear when Alex is coming back.

I sold my home in November 2022, it's now August 23,2022. I've been trying to get refunded since December. I canceled my service as of 11/3/22, they continued to bill me through February 2023. I've called repeatedly and no one is calling be back. I was a loyal customer for over 20 years and this is how I'm rewarded. I won't ever use their service again.

The technician performed the routine maintenance service on the air conditioner. Changed a filter for me. Also changed a light bulb for me that was in the attic that I couldn't reach. I am very thankful for his help.
