Tim was a great instructor, encouraging and patient with my 13-year-old son. It was a great first experience surfing for him, and I recommend One Wave to anyone looking to try surfing.

We had the best time, the instructors were kind and patient, and we all had the best time learning.if we ever make it back, I would definitely take another lesson.

Mike and Alexa were great instructors for me and my daughters. They were super patient and offered some great advice to make us feel comfortable on the boards. What a blast!

I enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish Casey and Monty were super knowledgeable, helpful, patient and friendly. They made sure we had all the help we needed to have a good time and a firm understanding of the basics of surfing from entry into the water to riding the wave.

One Wave was great, and our experience was even a little unconventional! I booked a lesson for my nephew and husband. Our experience was marred by an unfortunate accident as my nephew broke his foot, but I can't speak more highly to how professional the staff at One Wave is. The instructor immediately helped get him out of the water and to the lifeguard and helped administer first aid. It wasn't a very serious break at all, but it surely would've been worse had we not had the support from our instructor. Before the accident, everything was perfect. Great communication, clear instruction, lots of guidance. Although our nephew was injured my husband absolutely loved it and said he'd go again!

Had a great first surfing experience with Casey. He gave a great introduction on surfing basics and we spent a lot of time physically out on the water to get a feel for the process. Overall, gave me good confidence going forward to progress on my own!

Fantastic experience with Mike!

I booked some time for me (A somewhat experienced surfer with years of rust who had fallen out of shape) and my buddy (Brand new to surfing but in great shape.

Mike was great. Met us with board and wetsuits and met each of us at our level. He was very hands on and out there in the water with us the whole time. By the end, we'd both caught a few waves and i felt like i FINALLY knew what I was doing again.

Since then, we've gone a few more times. Booking again next time im on the coast.

Great coaching session. My concerns were listened to, and solutions explained. After talking theory for a little bit on the beach, followed by some stretching, I was in the water. Was able to improve my bottom turns, especially lefts. Conditions were ideal, and the coaches are knowledgeable about technique as well as the local breaks. I will use them again.

Sabinka was awesome! I’ve been surfing a few times, but usually I only get to stand up on one wave for the entire lesson. I had two lessons with Sabinka and stood up six times on the second lesson! She was extremely knowledgeable, and kind, and was really good about spotting what I did wrong, or could improve on between waves! She even did a joint lesson with my mom who has never been out surfing before! Also, she’s really cool: she’s surfed all around the world:)

One wave was overall a great experience, and it was easy to book, pay, and work with them! Highly recommended.

One Wave is awesome, I have been taking lessons for almost a year now. I was hooked after my first time out. I really enjoy working with Mike (ZigZag) and see major progress each lesson. I had a great experience working with Quin last summer when I first began surfing. All the instructors are professional, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. I highly recommend One Wave!
