Lots of good info from the 3 day classes. Wish I could afford the courses. Darren Kimoto is very knowledgeable on trading, stocks etc and is very passionate about what he does. Has a good way of explaining things. My only complaint is I went there the first day they told me I had canceled my class which I thought was odd. I didn't have a name plate like everyone else or was in the system which was off putting. It didn't make me feel welcomed. They order lunch for you which is nice and you learn and eat lunch. Of course they are trying to sell the programs so everything is based off that and it's pushed a lot. Not everybody is capable of purchasing it. They didn't push me personally. If I could afford it I would. Anyways thought I'd leave a review. Mostly good but there's some flaws.

They always online when they need your money.but when u ask to give them back.they disappear. What a lie.total lie. All their mentors, courses

Very unsatisfied with their courses and program. They arent paying attention to your progress, but always hardly pushing you to buy new and new courses. Promises of OTA and reality dont match, just marketing and ads.
"Full package" is promised to have unlimited classes but its not really true

I'm studying the Futures market here, and I really appreciate how everything is explained in a way that even children would understand. This week's educator is with Jerry Baldwin, and he teaches with a great sense of energy and enthusiasm. He has no problem breaking down large complex themes into its most basic moving parts. Not only does he show us the strategies our school implements, but also why they do, and visibly proves its success rate in real time. If you land a class with Jerry Baldwin, consider yourself lucky.

The facility offers free validated indoor parking spaces, all the coffee and tea and snacks you can handle, air conditioned rooms, comfy seating, and a full unbelievably extravagant breakfast and lunch every single class day. You may want to keep track of your caloric intake, I myself let loose, and went up a couple pounds.

I feel very confident about working the markets to my advantage now. Of course, our school doesn't teach fantasy dreams, but realistic rules and patterns, so I will be putting all the newfound knowledge into my simulated practice account until I can prove to myself that I can keep afloat and find profit. This is not a "get rich quick" scheme, there are rules and things to watch out for to keep safe in a risky place. I find it similar to learning to drive a car. One must understand the rules, and practice the physical driving of the car before being considered a safe driver.

If the cost of these courses deter you, keep in mind that all future retakes are entirely free, they have an extensive backlog of internet videos from the very classes that I'm currently taking, to extra materials for higher level traders. You gain membership to live videos in which professional traders go over their decisions, and the how and why to those decisions. You are also allowed to bring in one significant other with you at the price of yourself. It costs about as much as a semester of an ivy league college, but I personally believe I'm the one who lucked out in finding this school It is absolutely worth it's weight in gold. If you think you want to dabble in the markets, definitely try out their free half day class. This education is stuff they don't teach in real schools.

Grateful for OTA! They’ve made trading easy with their courses. I’ve recently taken the TradeStation platform immersion class and Futures class with Jerry Baldwin. After this week I feel confident with my trading. Jerry, made sure we understood and answered every question we had. He provides the class with amazing tips and tricks to apply to our trades. So happy I took these classes. Everyone at the Woodland Hills center is extremely helpful and really invested our learning.

This school is the greatest resource to learn how to trade. My futures instructor Jerry Baldwin insured that we knew how to identify important areas on a chart before leaving class. This was a games changer because these areas were great identifiers of what the markets will do.

Day 5 of my 2nd Professional Futures training class. What a terrific experience! Jerry Baldwin, our instructor, is the most upbeat and positive instructor I have met at OTA.

We have had a great time, 5 days literally flew by. Learned a ton, lots of nuggets to take home and put into play Monday morning at 5: 00 a.m. (the "Three Hour Trader"), my new goal!

The arc from Newbie to "almost capable" has truly been remarkable. Next week Sim Trades, the following week Micro trades and then standard trades and my first OTA funded vacation!

OTA offers an excellent strategy for trading equities, options and futures. I was introduced to OTA by Lloyd Logan Boucher whose 3 day class was very insightful, which lead to me signing up with OTA. I've taken Core Strategy, Pro Active Investor and Futures with Ryan Watkins, Russ Allen and Jerry Baldwin respectively. All three instructors are very knowledgeable in the OTA Core Strategy and in their asset classes. The classes are full of information and taught in a very relaxed and fun environment. Time flies while you're in class. Each instructor has a unique set of knowledge and experience and there is so much to learn from all of them. Crystal Hinojosa, Edgar Leija and the rest of the office staff make you feel at home and offer great hospitality and professionalism. Thanks OTA!

I am very thankful to find OTA. I have completed the Core Courses, Platform Immersion for Trade Station and one of the asset classes. Jerry Baldwin is a dynamic instructor and I am grateful to be his student at OTA. He works with Clik and with Tradestation showing how to find appropriate zones, to place a trade and and beyond. He slows down (a little for me) and then speeds up for those who decide to repeat the classes and grow quickly. He also shows you how to take advantage of learning tools, the online videos and encourages your progress. Yes, you can repeat your classes here and that makes it so reinforcing.

I just got off the phone with the front desk girl. She was very rude I was on the speaker phone and she told me I was screaming at her. The reality was I was talking loudly because I wanted her to hear me. She didn't answer any of the questions I asked her about alternative financing and just kept asking if I wanted a refund. I spoke with the owner of the place a month ago and was looking forward to going there. But to be honest with you. I think they are extremely unprofessional and very disorganized period. I have a leg injury which is painful and I can't drive around 80 miles to talk to a counselor that was supposed to contact me days ago. I don't know where the 5 stars came from to be honest with you. Probably asking their friends and family to write great reviews. Try another location.

I had such a wonderful time attending a 5 day Futures Class taught by Jerry Baldwin! Futures is very new to me and Jerry did a fantastic job introducing and getting me familiar with the asset class! The atmosphere was great, great vibes and energy throughout the week. I am more confident in trading now compared to how I felt before taking the class. Everyone at OTA is helpful and very welcoming. They make sure that their students are really absorbing all strategies and materials! Oh yes, and also yummy food and coffee!

I just attended a 5 day futures class in Woodland Hills taught by Jerry Baldwin, which was fantastic! Jerry did a great job working with, and involving every person in the class, which at times, is not an easy task. The staff at Woodland Hills are very helpful, as well. Daniel, Edgar, Sarah, and the whole crew really care about the student experience, and make working with OTA a pleasure! I highly recommend this class, and company!

Immersion class with Jerry Baldwin is excellent, enlightening and very hands on. This is a wide ranging full package. (he even covered how to do pull ups.)

This is THE place to come and learn to successfully trade the financial markets! All of the instructors possess a wealth of knowledge and insight about trading that you will not find anywhere else... And they are excellent at communicating it as well. They are a very fun and supportive community of students and staff that makes the learning process a real joy. Good School, they walk with you in baby steps if you need to when it comes to learning and you WILL learn to how become a professional trader with no background experience. They have simulators, and mentors with years of experience trading from many different backgrounds. They specialized in each different market whether is stocks, futures, forex and one more that I can't remember. The con with this school be prepare to have some serious cash I mean this: $$$$$$$$ for their courses.

OTA is an amazing and fun place to learn about trading in general. I've been attending for about a month 1/2 now and have been convinced that trading is another source of steady income if you invest your time to learn the different strategies and strictly follow your trading plan/rules. Thank you to the staff, incredible instructors - Patrick Valle for Options, Jeff Manson and Jerry Baldwin for futures, Tre Owens for Core, and my fellow OTA classmates who have been a part of my journey!
