Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Fontana CA

I'm a truck driver. Drove in a rental car from outta state and forgot my mask in another state. Pulled my shirt up and held it in place. According to California law it's a face mask or face covering. A shirt is a legal face covering and they refused to serve me. So much for my rights or the law.

I love ono Hawaiian but my experience today at the Fontana location off of valley was horrible. Ordered online for delivery today 5/8/2020 at 4: 10 pm called location to verify ordered girl answered with an unappreciated attitude. I just wanted to see if they can add 3 sauces per plate and was told “well no only 2” and I said there has never been a limit and I’m not asking for an unreasonable amount and I will pay extra over the phone if needed I just wanted the sauce. She said no that it was too late. I said ok what do I need to do to have extra sauce and was told nothing you can’t have more than 2. I previously worked for ono and I understand people over do it with sauce however I am not one to over do and I was willing to pay. Based on the attitude and overall experience I will not be back to this location. I rather drive a few extra miles for people to treat me like they actually don’t mind there

This place has similar fare as L&L Hawaiian BBQ. That's where the similarity ends. Ono BBQ is really ONO.delicious and not super greasy like L&L's. We got the mix plate and the serving is pretty big. The hubby and I split it since we were not very hungry. The meats were good and tender and their sauce has a great flavor.

My first time eating here.bye far the teriyaki spam is awesome as the rice and the macaroni salad and the fish and shrimp. I wasn’t to fond of the chicken.

Its hot inside, the workers take their time, all the people that ordered after me got their food before me? And they had ordered more than me.

The foods good with very generous portions. The $5.00 special was more than enough food. BBQ chicken had great flavor and sis salad had a great tasting dressing, but to ask for extra dressing. I like a healthy amount on mine. Great place to eat.

Excellent food, not expensive, they give good pirtions, clean place really friendly peopke.nice lots of psrking

Oh my god this is my first time trying this place never in a million years I thought I would ever go to this place and it is so bomb I loved it it was my first time I'm definitely going back again for lunch.and the place was so clean restrooms were so clean my God I could eat off the floor

Another one of my favorites restaurants in the area. Fast service and the food is tasty. Not too expensive either, for 2 people around $20.

This place is as close to real Hawaiian take-out as possible! Reminds me of Zippy's in the islands. Meat is so good and the macaroni salad is truly ono!

I love this place. Ono Hawaiian bbq is actually one my favorite Hawaiian food spots. I'm usually not a big fan of chain restaurants but I will make and exception for thai place. My go to is usually the mixed combo, the fire chicken and you definitely have to grt a spam musubi. The spam musubis are the best. So if you havent tried this place out yet you need to hit them up

Now this place has the best white cheddar noodles. Only comes on combination plate. Barbecue Chicken. A bit Pricey

Alright this is my 2nd Ono review. Last review was on the one in Redlands off of Lugonia. I got this one Ono at least 1-2 times a week since its near work and my company pays for my lunch so why not. This Ono is decent size but they don't utilize their space well.there's tall tables and chairs and a section with short tables and chairs. The staff here is professional and does get busy during lunch time. The cooks make the food well and i want to thank them because it cant be easy.i recommend this Ono

I always like Hawaiian BBQ place. I use to drive to North Fontana not anymore. This place is a definite must visit. This place is located at shopping center so it is very easy to find. There are plenty of parking. The place is clean. The staff is nice and attentive. This is a must visit if you are in the area.

Seriously this is the worst Ono, I'm not the type to write reviews but I'm very upset. I ordered through the phone and they took forever to answer and once they did they hung up. I called again and it along time to answer. When I picked up my food I didnt look at it thi king it would he good. Once I got home I opened it and I only had 2 pieces of chicken and 3 of the breaded chicken, fine no worrys but once I took a bite the breaded chicken was only bread it was supper hard I couldn't even chew it and the other chicken was burnt! I've known oho to have good quality food but this location is the worst! Take a look for yourself I uploaded a picture on photos.

For the first time trying this place out it was really good. I had the teriyaki chicken with rice and a tasty salad for the sides

Bad bad.rhe chicken was very dry over cook.the ribs very grease and over cook to almost burn out. And the beef very small amount of meat and over cook to.this place has no air conditioning very hot environment, this branch need to improve a lot.very dissatisfied.

Fire love this place the food hits the stop and it's not to expensive the place is clean and it's always nice and fresh in there. The people are cool and they cook the food fast

Great customer service! Wait time was good for food made to order. Seating distance from other customers is good. I dislike the moving chairs because of the noise they make against the floor but they are a great accommodation to add/remove seating when needed.
