Ono Hawaiian BBQ reviews
14The BEST bang for your buck. Huge portions of juicy, flavorful, grilled chicken and perfectly seasoned beef. The macaroni salad is out of this world.
My girlfriend and I had ono Hawaiian BBQ for our last night stay in anaheim. This was her first time having hawaiian food and we chose the right place for it.
We ordered the chicken katsu and hawaiian bbq plates. They were both divine. Best hawaiian restaurant I've been too and the prices are kind for the amount of food you get.
If your staying at the cambria hotel, i highly recommend checking ono hawaiian out!
The Staff is Incredible, they are very friendly and the food is delicious and it is a very clean place
First time trying Ono BBQ. Have had some great Hawaiian and this is right up there. Got 3 plates. Spicy chicken and 2 teriyaki chicken. Both came with 2 scoops of delicious white rice. 1 scoop of outstanding macaroni salad. Some veggies under the chicken (cabbage and broccoli). The spicy chicken came with onions and had a great full mouth heat and flavor. The teriyaki was nicely seasoned and complemented nicely with the homemade sauce. The total with 1 drink was around $42. Overall this was a delicious and filling meal a stones throw from Disneyland.
Great stuff. Polite staff. Good food n value. My wife's meat was a bit tough. Needs more marinate time!
Amazing food! The prices are reasonable, and the family meal is an incredible value. It fed our family of 4 and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Awesome place!
I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered food from here at 10/31/23 around 8pm and I picked it up and went on with my night. Eating it at the dinner table, I noticed my 2 year old not wanting to eat his veggies. Being the parent that I am, I went to eat it. Before eating the broccoli, I decided to just give it a look as it looked pretty old. Upon my observation, I discovered a maggot in the broccoli. So I decided to call the restaurant and let them know of what I discovered. I asked the young lady who answered the phone for a manager. She began by asking why I needed a manager and I explained my situation. She replied by stating “how do you know it was a maggot”? It was pretty plain and clear that it was a maggot on the broccoli. She then stated that there was no manager on site and to come by tomorrow to speak to management. I said ok, and I asked if I could get her name just so I could have a reference to who I spoke to the night before when I was able to speak to a manager the next day. She stated she “wasn’t allowed to give her name”. So I said okay, and I asked for the manager’s name so I can speak to them the following day. She proceeded to hang up the phone. Such rude and unprofessional service.
It took like half an hour for some Spam musubi. And chicken Terriyaki and crab rangoon. They packed us to go when I ordered it for there. They were pretty busy so I can understand. Pretty good food overall
Really terrible Hawaiian food. Katsu had no flavor, Kaldi Ribs were inedible. Mac Salad tasted really off. 2 stars for kindly staff but the food got thrown into the trash after a few bites.
Excellent Food.
Very nice staff
Great price
Very clean
You have to come visit and eat here.
You will not be disappointed
What an incredible dining experience at Hawaiian restaurant! The service was top-notch from the moment we walked in. The staff was warm and welcoming, and our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu. Now, let's talk about the food – it was a tropical paradise on a plate! Every dish was bursting with authentic Hawaiian flavors, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident. The ambiance was perfect, with a relaxed island vibe, making us feel like we were in Hawaii itself. We can't wait to return for another delicious meal in this little slice of paradise!
Chicken is not the best. I only had like two bites and had to throw it. It looked disgusting. I ordered the katsu chicken. Soda in the machine tasted weird.
I absolutely love this place %
The food is perfectly cooked. I was only in anaheim for 5 days, and I was a repeat customer during my stay.
Good food and pretty quick service. A little disappointed the drink selection was minimal with no tea option available.
