Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Sacramento CA

Just got lunch from here! The restaurant is extremely clean! Staff is nice! I ordered island fire chicken and it was BOMB! My roommate and his sister ordered the Teriyaki chicken and BBQ Chicken! They were extremely satisfied! Overall it was 10 out 10 highly recommend! I’ll be back for sure!

I love the hot cabbage/broccoli on these plates! To be honest the flavor is there, I love ono, I really do, but the portions are so small. Whenever I go to “the other” popular Hawaiian bbq place in sac I always have extras for the next day but at ono I eat everything all at once and the price is a little high for the amount of food.

I like the island fire chicken. But I have tried almost all their wonderful menu. So I go back there and get something different just to change it up.

Clean place. Got the beef and chicken combo. The beef was pretty tough (not tender at all). Friendly workers.

After about 5 visits, I’m giving up on this place. The wait time is exceptionally long, even when it’s slow, and the food just isn’t good. Their Kalua pork is the worst that I’ve had. No flavor at all. Barely a hint of smoke. No salt. Dry. Just bad. Mac salad and musubi are good, but the Kalua pork ruined the whole experience.

Food was good. Had the chicken katsu plate. Macaroni salad was pretty tasty but could use some pepper which wasn't available on my visit. They had packets of Sriracha though! The worker who took our order wasn't very friendly or super helpful. And they don't serve loco moco.still, a good option in the crocker village shopping center.

My katsu chicken was overcooked and dry. I'd just had the same meal in Avondale, Arizona and it was spectacular; this meal was not nearly as good. Friendly staff and my meal was made correctly, just overcooked and overbreaded.

Ordered off the app and instead 2 portions of Mac salad and 2 steamed veggies, instead got 3 steam veggies and rice. Don't use the app. Only order in person.

My husband and I got the fried pork and BBQ chicken combo. It was very delicious and I am not sure what this mango drink is, but it was also very good~ we will definitely go again if ever in the area!

My Mother and I went in last week. I ordered the half BBQ chicken and half Katsu. Mom ordered half shrimp and half chicken teriyaki. Plates come with macaroni salad, rice and a beautiful bed of yummy cabbage underneath We both enjoyed our meals. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Will be returning.

Food was great as always! Unfortunately had to give lower rating as they refused to let my daughter use the restroom 20 minutes before closing time therefore I had to take her to the restaurant next door. The female employee then proceeded to tell my wife that they will be closing in 10 minutes and to start making her way out.

It's been a longgggggg time since I've had Hawaiian BBQ! The only thing missing was the banana leaf wrapping on the Kalua pork!

Really cute and delicious spot. Rice can be a hit or miss but the macaroni salad is always good. Great place to get takeout from.

The BBQ chicken plate is very delicious. The pulled pork was good but tasted a bit watered. The macaroni salad and the white rice were very tasty. The food is fresh. The plate goes through quality control from the kitchen.we saw her take food off the plate. I get it, but it was hard to watch.

A wonderfully clean and cheerful environment but Serge wonderfully delicious food and we had a coupon for buy one dinner get one free so that was wonderfully great value

Purdy top-notch, actually ate my vegetables. Katsu sauce not quit to par with what I am use to. But amazing find for me since I was out of the area. Definitely will stop buy again.

They never gave me my food and I waited a long time and other people did and my food was not ready for almost 30 minutes, the worst thing that has happened to me
