The employee is super rude and unresponsible, they don't care! They hung up phones whenever they want, a women! Can't believe we are paying tax to pay them!

A system designed to steal food from our kids' mouths. Good job in inflating the government over and over again. How about we all close the corporation and work for the government?

I would give 0 stars if possible. Rude and condescending. Not helpful at all in answering any questions. They hung up the call after about 30 seconds on the line with them even though having to wait to get to speak with someone.

I would give a 0 star rating if I could. The representative helping me was very condescending and rude from the start of the call. She had the audacity to HANG UP the phone in the middle of the call. THE WORST customer service I've ever received. I don't think she is in the right line of work if she is that unhappy answering people's questions. Seems like it might be the same lady in the other reviews.

I sent an email for customer feedback, and the response didn't include an apology. Instead they said to read their website properly with a red circle drawn on it. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the same lady that answered my call. If it was a different representative, then I'm worried that the whole lot of them are as terrible.

Can't believe my tax money is paying for people who can't help me pay them more taxes lol.

They send their minions with hidden clipboards into small businesses (who rent) to assess what equipment they can tax you on. Then send you a bill and if you don't pay that bill they'll make it delinquent and then threaten liens on your personal property. It's so fun to own a business in Orange County! Also I got hung up on by an absolutely delightful joy of a person who works there. They sure know how to pick em!

Extremely unprofessional. The operator barely let me talk and hanged up on me after 1 minute

9/26/23-100% Zero. What a bunch of degenerate human beings working at the tax-collectors office. I am not surprised one bit now, why I never received my tax bill. They could not assist me in how to pay my tax bill.

Such a poor phone service, don't know what is this phone number even provide for? The women in the office can't slove any problem for me just repeat her short respond like a repeater. Most importantly this trash OC Treasurer website is the worst website I've ever seen. For all other part like an simple page with an form can be opened, BUT when I try to open SEARCH PROPERTY TAX to find out if I got any property tax left to pay, the website JUST CAN'T OPEN! Is this some new kind of fraud to delay people pay their property tax so that they can get extra money for people who paid delay? The website and the office staff is such a joke!

I would give these people 0 stars if I could. This is for the help I received over the phone. Not sure her name, but she was a complete B*TCH. I don't usually like to call a person out of their name, but that's how she was acting. I called to inquire about an unsecured property tax letter for my business I received and she was rude right off the bat. I was trying to understand what it was as I was at my office space for 5 years and never got a letter like this. She said rudely, "Well it looks like they found you. " Insinuating I was trying to hide. I brushed that comment off and told her I file my taxes every year. She said that is different, this is for my equipments, supplies, everything used to conduct business. I still didn't understand because when I file my taxes, I report all that as well. Why am I paying taxes on things I've already paid taxes on during time of purchase. Or for things I've already reported on my taxes and paid for. I ask her about the amount listed on the letter wondering how they came up with that number and again, RUDE response. "Well you got away with it for 4 years. " I was beyond annoyed at this point, but STILL tried to be cordial about it. I said to her, "Well I'm just trying to understand this because it's new to me, you don't have to give me attitude and be so rude about it. " SHE HANGS UP. Wow, lady, if you hate your job so much, go work somewhere else. I was truly just trying to understand. My CPA has never mentioned to me anything about this. From my understanding, I was doing everything I was supposed to do. Reading other's reviews, we've all must be talking to the same lady. Learn to be professional.

Being paying property tax on time for over 30 years. Got delinquent notice even though I sent check a month before due date. Got lost or they misplaced. Sent all copies of documents showing I sent it. Not good enough. Biting the bullet paying the penalty. But wait their online payment system doesn’t work. So they penalize you for their system failure. Way to go to scam seniors. No wonder tax collector caused OC county to go bankrupt years ago.

I called about a delinquent notice I just received and I never actually received the first notice. I called to see what could be done. Before I could ask all my questions, I was cut off by a woman who was so rude and rude and rude! She jumped into my mouth then hung up on me. I forgot her name. It was on Friday 5/19/23. Hey, if you can not work and act professionally, find something else to do that matches your unprofessional attitude! We want to save our tax money for the people who can serve other people. My cousin works for LA county Treasure-Tax Collector, and he is Nothing like her! This agency needs to re-train its staffs.

Warner your security officer needs to realize what the constitutional rights are and understand that Constitutional Rights NEVER END NEVER GO AWAY.

Wow, I'm speechless with how rude, ruthless and condescending Jennifer was. While I was asking very politely very simple questions, she added word choices that were not necessary and went ape. Either she is not fit for this job or needs counseling. See the other reviews, similar experience. Management, I hope you are reading these comments.

Terrible organization. Though as expected of most governmental agencies - indifferent to the point of being rude, entitled, bureaucratic, indemnified. Basically, all adjectives usually applied to public servants. And no photoshop can produce a pleasant smile from the snarl attempted by humble employees of this glorious agency. No, this review is not based purely on my bad feelings toward any tax collector - actually, I do think that taxes (at least to reasonable extent) are needed. But I would like (not that I really expect) to get a little better service from the people whose salaries I in fact pay. No point in going into specific details of my experience - its not details but general attitude that is a problem.

Worst customer service ever. Got hung up on multiple times and disconnected. Was also told they would not assist me with an important request involving files I have purchased from them! Terrible govt service
