Gym Orangetheory Fitness reviews
19It’s never a dull day here. I love the way the coaches motivate the members to workout. Studio is clean and hygiene with friendly staff and good equipments to workout. Although I do not like orangetheory class and membership canceling policy, I am addicted to workout here! So I can't quit. Different and fun workouts everyday motivates me to achieve my fitness goals!
The variety of exercises keeps me engaged and the workout fresh. The instructors are very knowledgable and motivating. They are kind when they correct your form and, most important, you always feel welcomed for being there.
My 4th class so far and I’m really loving it. It challenged you in a different way, im excited to see outcomes!
The staff and the workouts have been a game changer for me. I’ve always enjoyed group exercise better than solo gym sessions. This is the best of both worlds. I’m doing my own thing while everyone around me is doing the same and it’s just more motivating. Most of coaches here have on point play lists too! (I’m talkkng songs from the mic cd I made for my first solo car ride when I was 16 with a new license!)
The heart rate monitor is a great way to show you to push more so you’re in the zone you’re looking for. The coaches walk you through your Blocks and the workouts you’ll be doing. On the floor there are ‘reminders’ videos of what you should be doing so that’s helpful! Plus when I travel I can go to another OTF so I don’t miss out! Just join. You’ll be thrilled you did.
I do hope this place provides benefit to people reading the post, but to us its a nightmare. Please care about your safety as if something bad happens, then the staff/owner will all end with saying that what they did was the best.
I got injured badly while doing workout there. Got a bad fracture, had to undergo surgery and has worrisome condition.
We were newbies and we were not guided properly by the coach (I did mention to coach that we're newbies at beginning of class itself). I do believe had the guidance given to her, the bad injury could have been avoided.
I did reach out to the owner and GM so they can review the security, but they feel that nothing needs improvement.

My fiancee got injured badly while doing workout there. Got a bad fracture, had to undergo surgery and has worrisome condition.

11/20: My intention is not to lash you but share my feedback with community. I had already shared my concerns with you so meeting you in-person is not my priority rather taking care of Rashmi at the moment. I still believe had the coach mentioned to her about the step up exercise, she could have better done the coordination of legs, and avoided the incident. 10 minutes around passed by the time paramedics came, but this duration has nothing to do with your efforts, rather 911 time.
You should really review how much the coach is able to focus on members; if its not manageable then either decrease the class size or have more coach per session. Just think about avoiding this kind of bad injury to any other member.
12/8: Also the coach was just interested in resuming the class, so post Rashmi's injury coach lifted her and put her on floor outside of class in front of the reception, and without uttering any word, she went back to class. I believe she should not have lifted Rashmi and rather waited for paramedics to arrive inside the studio so they could have taken best possible course of action.
It's challenging, motivating, but not intimidating. I know it seems intimidating at first but the coaches work with you to modify the excercises so you don't injure yourself. Honestly, this is the only thing I've stuck with and I feel that I'll be doing this for a long time.
Efficient one hour work out! I leave class knowing I received motivating and knowledgeable coaching along with my 110% effort!
I love that every day is slightly different but I know I'm going to get an amazing fast-paced workout that's challenging and fun!
Been trying to get myself to workout for a long time but I always got bored with my workouts. I have been a member at OrangeTheory for three weeks and I am already obsessed. The coaches at this location are amazing, supportive, energetic, and knowledgeable. 100/10 would recommend!
I like that it is open for the public and everyone from street can come to participate. 2* because of the staff. Did not seem very polite.
The ratio of calories burnt/time spent working out can't be beaten. The workouts are a lot of fun.
I highly recommend Orange Theory on the Alameda! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the workouts are challenging and fun, the coaches are flawless running very complicated classes, and the facility is clean and cheerful.
Gets your heart rate going; thoughtful exercises and the class is always different. I've been to other locations and the coaches aren't as great - so I love the vibe of the coaches and staff at Rose Garden! Great classes:)
Coach Meghan Smith was VERY good, specifically: - Tone: her tone was very upbeat and motivating - Humor: she used humor to keep the class engaged - Cues: Smith's cues were timely, preparing the class for the next movement and block & repeated her cues - Demos: demos were on point and provided modifications.
Our clients and staff enjoy otf and this location is clean, friendly and good for great workout!
It is a set workout for 50+ mins. No cheating and it forces me to complete my workout. ️ And it's not boring, great music and you just get through it. In the end all that matters is you get your workout done!
The workouts are amazing and never boring! The staff is so polite and the trainers are really engaging and motivating!
Friendly staff- loved Daniel's class! I stopped in while on a work trip, would highly recommend Rose Garden.
