Orchid Blossom Nail Salon, Novato CA

This is for anyone who’s contemplating coming here if they’ve never been. Today was my first time going to Orchid Blossom in Novato. I was nervous because I have short nails and last time I had them done at my usual spot in Vallejo, the acrylics fell off in less than a week and I was so sad. But also relieved bc as much as I love nails I hate them. I can’t stand my nails being long, I’ve bitten my nails as long as I can remember. So my first time here. The place was small and crowded I came 15 early to my appointment I made by phone and opted to wait outside until they were ready for me. The lady who helped me was amazing. Anywhere I go I get laughs and comments about my nails being short. So I laughed with this new lady and she told me she can only do short nails because my nails were too small. Fine with me bc I prefer my acrylics on the shorter side, and I was already going to ask for them as short as she could go. When she asked me what shape I wanted and I replied coffin. She straight up told me no. I stayed silent bc I have never been told no to coffin nails and I was low key upset. She then told me if she did coffin they would fall off quick and that she didn’t want me to waste my money and have my nails just fall off. It now made sense to me why my nails fell off in Vallejo. They didn’t explain anything to me there they literally just did my nails and they DID fall off super quick. I asked the nail lady what she recommended and I chose to get them square. She said she would do her best to put them on so they last. I genuinely appreciate the advice and care that she put into my nails and am super happy with the results. She clearly had a lot of experience and was kind enough to care about giving me the best value as a paying customer I give 10/10 stars and am looking forward to my next visit. I hope everyone there is as kind as this lady

Just moved to Novato and went to this nail salon today for the first time. The lady that did my nails did a wonderful job I will definitely go back to the salon.

I have been to many nail salons but this one by far is the best! My nails last so long, no chipping or lifting. They always listen to my request and I am always satisfied! I totally recommend.

They did the nail design I requested, from a photo that I found and I honestly feel like it turned out better than the photo!

As always, the leg massage is SUCH a wonderful addition when getting a pedicure.
They were able to squeeze me in for a same-day appointment but, it was pretty busy there when I came in. So, it is always better to call ahead and see if they have availability, instead of just walking in!

This place was super nice and clean. I made an appointment and they greeted me at the door! The lady doing my nails worked very hard and did an amazing job on my acrylics!

Great place, calm, clean with friendly staff. They start calling you by your name instantly. Definitely worth the drive from Oakland.

This is my favorite Novato Nail Salon. They have been consistently kind and personable.
There was a moment when I was frustrated thinking they couldn't understand what I wanted, but they quickly got someone who could and everyone stayed so nice. They're also funny and humorous, quick to smile, joke, or laugh. They Always remember me.
No one looks scared. I know that's a weird thing to say, but I've been in places where the ladies looked terrified if anything happened and they would glance at the boss as if assessing how bad they'd be punished. But here they are friendly and happy and it feels sincere.
They have done a consistently great job of my Gel Mani-pedis. Charge is average.
My friend often gets a color change. This is about the cheapest thing you can get at a nail salon. We have been treated poorly at other locations when she's requested one. Here they're still talking to her by her name, still joking and laughing with her, still making her feel like the center of the universe, still making her feel good.
That to me is worth everything. It's all about being treated well and leaving Happy.
A color change only can easily end in tears.
We've NEVER walked out of here because we float out feeling beautiful, cared for, and pampered.

Manicure started chipping after the first day. Top coat was not well applied so nails looked weird.

I love this place they are so nice I’ve been coming here for 3 years good prices and some of you on here think there rude because you guys might talk back but they are good people so far I’ve seen them be nice for 3 years I really recommend this place

Every time I come to this place I am never disappointed. The ladies are all so sweet. The environment is clean and comfortable.
