Oren's Hummus reviews
19 Tried eggplant hummus
Love the hummus!
The restaurant did not have tables when we got there
This place is a great Israeli restaurant! Oren's Hummus offers an endless selection of classic Israeli dishes ️, hummus? , salads, and skewer! Definitely try the hummus and Schnitzel de Noir, but avoid the mustard since it's super spicy? Staff is super nice, welcoming, and professional, and the service is quick! I wish I came here more often!
Service was excellent, the outdoor seating was nice, and the food was good.
We had the rice bowl with beef, hummus classic and falafels. All the dishes were great.
Highly recommended, I'm looking forward to come back again!
The greatest hummus I have ever eaten. Fantastic pita and falafel and even carrots and green beans. Excellent chicken, both grilled thighs and fried breast. An absolutely fantastic restaurant.
Obviously this business puts profit over customer experience:
* There's virtually no space between tables so it's impossible to have a conversation - I've been to quieter pubs on Friday nights.
* The staff is inattentive - had to ask for water three times after sitting. The food is way overpriced for the quality and the atmosphere.
Decent Israeli food. Sabich is my goto dish, wife and kids all happy to get Oren's to go.
We love Oren’s and stop by anytime we are in the Bay Area. Our go-to’s are the hummus bowl with lamb and the chicken pita sandwich. The hummus is the best we’ve ever had. We wish Oren’s had a location closer to Sacramento!
The restaurant is dirfy and disgusting. Right before me manager left the restroom and he didn't even flush after himself. He is also very rude
I’ve had positive dine-in experiences in the past. Their takeout service seems to be a different story, though. Arrived at the expected pickup time. Waited for 10 min to get someone’s attention. Waited another 15 min before someone bothered to bring the food out.
If takeout business is not a priority, Oren’s should stop doing it. Ignoring customers is not the way to go… very disappointed.
I went there with my family and enjoyed the whole experience. Food is really delicious, particularly eggplant humus and walnut-pomegranate dip. Cristina who served us that night made sure that our dietary concerns are all taken care.
Great food great experience for a nice meal and great place to take a friend or better yet a love.
Pita felafel sandwiches were great. Hummus is tasty. The sweet potato fries are must haves.
Scrumptious, fresh food at great prices. Love this place. Smoothest, velvetiest hummus I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of great hummus, so this is saying a lot.)
This place is amazing, i definitely love their food.
You should really try all their food as its really worth it. Their hummus are tasty!
I noticed that they do add more food options in their menu once a while which really prompts me to come back and try more each time.
The customer service and their employees are really friendly and always gets my order quickly with a smile. Good Job!
Thanks
Delicious, good quality food, I enjoy eating here. They know how to make the real Middle Eastern food. Thumbs up!
Despite the reputation I didn't see anything really exceptional about Oren's Hummus. The hummus plates are really too much hummus for one person. Sure, the hummus is quite tasty, but there should be a wider variety of nutrition on the plate. Or, better yet, make a smaller version that is lighter on the hummus and about half the price.
So yummy!
I got the classic hummus and mint lemonade.
I’m definitely coming back
Went to this location to order takeout two weeks ago. Always loved Oren's Hummus- the food is amazing.
But then when I looked at the tablet to select the tip amount, I noticed (reading from left to right) that it was 20%, 18%, and 18% (18% was listed twice).
Now naturally people read from left to right and would usually select the leftmost amount. The fact that the tips were listed this way made me feel like it was a little shady. I don't know if there is any particular reason why tips would be listed like this, but I now hesitate to go back.
