Original 40 Brewing Company, San Diego CA

Slow noon on Sunday, but picked up. Well made beer (stuck with IPAs), with Westerly Flow being my personal standout. Decor is open and fresh, and though I didn't eat, everyone else there was raving about the food.

Modern, very spacious, clean brewery. I had the wings which were extra crispy and delicious, but I need to try a burger soon. They looked really good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I’ll be coming back soon.

We stopped in for a quick dinner while in San Diego. Cool little brewery with lots of drink options. Everything is on tap, they do not have any cocktails. We tried the pretzel and poutine fries, both were delicious and left us so full that we didn't have room for entrees. This place works where you order at the bar and they bring your food to your table.

Original 40 was the perfect place to host our work happy hour. Management and staff were warm, welcoming and flexible. The back patio area is great for mingling and watching the sunset over some delicious bites and brews! Highly recommend!

Food, beer and service were all fantastic really a great place to go in Northpark. We will be back again.

Great experience every-time and the staff is lovely. The beers they make here are great, always rotating so it’s never dull. Recommend this place for sure.

Atmosphere was very good we got there and the guy was so welcoming during lunch time today our food and beer and cocktails are soooo good! I will definitely be back! 10/10

Way better than the spot down the street. Good vibes and friendlier service with a better selection of in-house made beers. This place should be on the top 15 SD breweries! Wait, maybe not so it stays pure lol.

This place is a gem, and i am so happy to have O40 in the neighborhood.it’s spacious with high ceilings and tons of greenery.the beers are always solid with great variety, the food is BOMB with tons of flavor and fresh ingredients! My fav are the short rib and fish tacos.the best part is the staff.they are friendly, provide top notch service and are really just awesome human beings.i always have a great time here!

Good beer at this brewpub on University Ave. I had a simple Baja dog, however all the food I saw looked very good and is reasonably priced.

New brewery we checked out in North Park! Modern, industrial themed, and gives big spacious hangar vibes when you're inside. The windows are open, so there's tons of fresh air. The bartenders are great, gave us recommendations off beers not on the current menu, and even pushed together tables to seat our big party.

The beer is great, I got the Juice Maze, a double hazy IPA with citrus notes. The dragonfruit seltzer was nice and refreshing. There's also food here: fries, wings, burgers, tacos, and pizza. We got the poutine style fries ~$16. The fries were good, but the toppings (cheese curds, shredded beef, other herb seasonings) a bit salty. Lots of seating, you can hang out in the front, by the displayed brewery equipment, or outside. They also have Trivia on Sundays! I'd come back again to try other beers. Ask about their secret favorites.

For parking, there's a paid parking lot around the corner or street parking (some metered, some free).

Definitely recommend the goat cheese & beet salad for a light snack! Nice atmosphere with good lighting & friendly staff.
