It's a nursing facility. Oroville hospital sent my mom here after she injured herself while under their care. I've never seen her so terrified. She thought it would be the kiss of death for her to have to stay here. I'm happy to report that she is still alive and says this place isn't so bad and that she is quite comfortable. The staff is very nice.

The staff at the Oroville hospital Post Acute Center is excellent. I would like to thank the guys in the physical therapy department that helped me so much.
The whole staff does the best they can considering everything that's been going on and all the restrictions.
The rooms are a bit crowded with two people in a room. The food could use a lot of improvement by adding fresh fruit to the menu everyday and a bigger variety on the menu.

I gave this place a 1 star review because it does not have a negative star review. If you love your family members and they need rehabilitation, DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS FILTHY AND DISGUSTING facility. For my brothers breakfast this morning, he got cold sausage and rubberized pancakes, that he could not cut with a knife, at 10: 15 a.m. Breakfast was served to his roommate at 8: 30. He had to call them and ask if he was getting breakfast. Their response was "oh, you didn't get any? His toilet has not been cleaned in at least a month,
I would be willing to bet. I took pictures and am going to contact the Ombudsman to let them know how covid non-compliant this facility is.

If I could give the front desk secretary, weekend staff and housekeeping a zero out of five I would. The nasty front desk secretary has the nerve to be totally nasty and unprofessional when a newly admitted family member is inquiring on how to visit their loved one. Not once did we be disrespectful, but she continued to be her nasty, unprofessional, drill sergeant behavior. She needs several classes in respect or find another professional cause she clearly doesn't belong in the Healthcare environmental. Atleast the relief person was more caring and considerate of people's feelings and apologized her behavior. The weekend nursing staff was a joke. Well over an hour EVERYTIME waiting for a nurse to respond to the simple request of water because my family member was dying of thirst. Sad to have to go to the bathroom sink to get my uncle a glass of water.
Oh wait, another absolute horror. The toilet literally hadn't been cleaned for at least 3 weeks. My uncle was moved into a room with a long term.patient, so that means this patient was subjected to this nasty environment. After finding this in the restroom we find what appears to be strawberry jam (God I hope it isn't blood) from the previous patient was found on the tray table. Then we are told that several employees have covid and visitation is now virtual. Gee I wonder why, nursing don't give a damn about the patients, front desk people are annoyed to even be talking to you and housekeeping is a disgrace. They make a bad name for the true Healthcare employees who truly take there job as not a monumental thing and a believing you are here for a meaning to take care of anyone. I truly hope the Administration parties see this and has their eyes OPEN WIDE because this is not right. I understand the short staffing with covid, but hell when they are asked if they are short staffed they say "No. " So what gives. This will be going to a higher authority if I don't get an adequate solution.

My mom was meant to go on hospice care at a relative’s house, but due to the bear fire she was moved here. She only lasted 2 days before passing away from breast cancer. I was so afraid I wouldn’t get to see her before she passed due to Covid restrictions. The staff here did everything in their power to accommodate me, allowing me to be with my mom until the end. I’ll always be grateful for their kindness during the most difficult time of my life. Mandy, especially, was so kind and accommodating. Thank you again!
