Two absolute standout dishes:

1. The squid ink pasta with black truffle shaving
2. The porridge with uni and abalone in this delectable foam

#2 is the “chefs specialty” as we learned after we ordered it. It’s a $35 add on—but worth every cent.

The tasting menu says 5 course but we kept getting extra dishes in between. Ended up being a 10 course meal. For $125 that’s a steal.

Opted for the wine pairing as well which was good for exposure but I think I had a few diff pairings in mind.

Give it a go—you’ll love it.

I had an absolutely amazing dinner here last night for my SO’s birthday. The food was just amazing along with the ambiance and dessert. We got to sit at the chef’s counter so it was nice seeing everything happen in action. They gave more dishes than they listed out and I was stuffed! This might be my new favorite restaurant right now! Just loved it.

I’m going to be dreaming about the seafood porridge along with all the other deliciousness.

Not worth the price. Paid around $800 for 2 people ($200 per person course and they false advertised on their website saying it’s $125. When we got there the menu said $200) and we walked out not full. Some dishes were well thought out and delicious but with the price we paid, I expected WAY more and certainly had way better gourmet food at other places. I would not recommend this place.

Excellent prix fixe menu at a very reasonable price. Never had anything but the best food and service here. Wish the weekend brunch was back.

This would have to rate amongst the top10 dining experiences we have had anywhere in the world. We did the dinner paired with wines and had world class food and exceptional service. Every dish was outstanding and the waiter paired wines, mainly French, perfectly. Intimate setting and reservations required. Enjoy!

Overpriced for what you get. You do get extra courses as gifts so there aren’t concerns about leaving hungry. However, most dishes lack imagination or have flavors that overpower each other or very unbalanced. I had two good dishes out of what seems like 10. Like all other reviews mentioned here, 20% service charge is automatically added onto your bill. I like that clarity but additional gratuity is expected, with the word “gratuity” underlined in pen on your receipt. Would have preferred for them to be upfront about all the dishes served and price point.

Ok so here’s the thing: The service was impeccable. Truly. As I’m typing this, however, I still feel nauseous from the food. Started off fine with some simple dishes but quickly devolved into what felt like a cream and truffle show from 2002. You can’t do 3 dishes in a row with heavy cream, let alone 2 with truffles. The best thing we had was fatty tuna with some kind of tomato-caper sauce. Super interesting and creative. Almost everything else was frankly embarrassing for them. And given the fact that we ended up spending close to $800 total, I’m actually kind of mad. If it weren’t for the fact that we paid the same amount for such an incredible experience at Shunji the night before… well, I’d somehow be even more disappointed than I am. You know the food was bad if I’ve managed to complain this much without once mentioning the 20% service charge. That was literally the least disappointing thing about the experience. No michelin star restaurant should have even one bad review. This one has several. Save your money and go literally anywhere else, I’d even go to McDonald’s right now if I didn’t still feel queasy.

Second time around and the experience holds up! Great drinks, unique plates, and even blankets to share. Also, some amazing customer service. I'm addition to dinner, seems like a great place to catch drinks and appetizer with a group.

I went there with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. Orsa & Winston is a fabulous restaurant with a reasonable price, given it is a Michelin-starred restaurant in 2021 and 2019. The menu is fixed, which means you don't need to think about what to order. We even got a few extra treats that day.

I enjoyed the Satsuki rice porridge the most. I can't imagine how the cream and trout roe would be harmonized to a magical extent. In addition to top-notch food, I also enjoyed the cute atmosphere and good service there. Flawless fine dining experience.

Unfortunately, not at all worth the fee and I would not recommend. Nice ambience, great service. Food is extremely underwhelming for being a Michelin star restaurant. Final bill for the experience, which includes a tacked on 20% service charge that isn't the tip, was ridiculous. Perhaps they justify it by providing "gifts" throughout the meal (if you count getting an amuse-bouche as a "gift" at a fine dining restaurant).

My wife and I loved O & W, but there is no way it should have only $$. Don't get me wrong; it was worth the money, but you are certain to drop $150/person minimum. The food and service are top notch, and we highly recommend this restaurant. But it's not cheap.

I usually like fusion restaurants and like both Japanese and Italian food. This Japanese and Italian fusion place was an interesting taste experience, has high quality ingredients, a casual and comfy vibe, great service, but made me realize that I like each cuisine separately better.

I decided to indulge a little by dining at Orsa and Winston on my birthday. I opted for the 5-course vegetarian tasting menu and beverage pairing and, although I was unsure what to expect from Japanese Italian fusion, I was not disappointed.

I reserved about a month-and-a-half in advance for a seating later in the evening on a weekday, so it was a bit quiet when I went in, and I was given the option of sitting at a table/booth or at the counter facing the kitchen. I opted for the latter. However, there are only a handful of tables, so I definitely recommend making reservations in advance regardless of when you plan to arrive!

The service, ambiance, and food made for a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to treat themselves or celebrate a special occasion to pay a visit.

We had the 5 course tasting menu and the food was fantastic. Well deserved if it’s status. On top of that, the chef constantly sent out complimentary dishes which eventually made the 5 course meal an 11 course one. Highly highly recommend

Fine dining with a bit of a confused and messy composition

- Ambiance -
Modern Japanese jazz / pop - a bit of a strange choice that didn’t seem to have much cohesiveness with the food

Small restaurant sitting - of about 15-18 people but comfortably spaced out.

Decor is clean modern albeit a bit basic in taste. Sometimes simplicity work in its favor with taste, but this was an average modern clean open kitchen design

Service is good and polite - but nothing out of the ordinary or remarkable.

- Food -
Prefixed menu of “5 courses” with an option to add one more. But really almost a menu of 10 items (many of which not shown)

The menu design was just overall feels random. One example was a sweet potatoe ravioli, duck stew and truffles in a tomato Italian-Indian sauce. The truffles felt completely misplaced that neither went with the ravioli nor the duck nor the sauce.

The overall execution of the dishes were modern fine dining cuisine done well, but again was confused and difficult to connect the dots between dish to dish. It’s almost as if you ordered à la crate - except you have no choices.

Lastly but unfortunately not controlled, we had a very rude set of customer next to our table. Who constantly coughed and had no conscious morale to not affect people around. It was uncomfortable to sit through the meal as a result.

Fantastic dining experience and the food was amazing! We made the reservation a month in advance on OpenTable. I recommend ride share to the restaurant since parking is limited and the surrounding area is not the best.

Service is top notch and pacing was one of the best I've experienced. They tailor the pace to each table's progress. There were 6 other parties dining at the same time and we finished first since we didn't add the optional course or wine pairing.

While the menu talked about 5 courses, we were pleasantly surprised to receive any gifts throughout the meal. Everything was tasty and well executed with a variety of textures, tastes and presentation.

Highly recommend!
