O's American Kitchen SNM

I ordered at 5: 45pm to go. The food was promised at 6: 45. It is now 7: 15pm and I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous that it takes an hour and a half to prepare a meal.

Sadly, the food was very disappointing. O's used to be our favorite place to go for the lemon chicken, salad & breadsticks in El Cajon. They closed that location years ago; we were up north, found this one, and stopped in for some good food.we were sorely disappointed. The beets in the salad were old, lettuce was wilty, chicken flavorless and dry, and the breadsticks were tough and chewy. We paid over $45 for this horrible lunch. We won't be going back; we'll just reminisce of what used to be.

We drove past and were hungry, I can recommend it, especially the pasta salad was very tasty, the California pizza had too much pesto and not enough avocado for my taste, otherwise it was very pleasant to eat here.

When we walked in no one greeted us or offered to take our order. They were talking amongst themselves and I had to ask "can I order? "

Good food, pricey, you always have a wait inline to order. Save all the trouble and order online.

They need to hire more people because I only had one person there and I just walked out finally after 15 minutes of waiting it's ridiculous not worth my money

Food was amazing and portions were very generous. Had the turkey, provolone wrap and everything tasted very fresh.

Drive all the way from RB just get my fix on the last real Oscars (or O's American kitchen). Prices are high but the chicken, greek salad and Breadsticks are still on point! Yum. Add a bunch of mustard makes for a worthy trip. Please don't close down this last location! Support your local O's San Marcos! !

The only thing missing here is an allergen menu, I hate having to bother the chef asking if something is dairy-free or not.

Pizza predicament - partially pale, breadsticks better. Prompt service, problem-free orders, plentiful discounts, practical takeout.

I don't like to post bad reviews but when I do is because something really bad happened. This is a great occasion, for q bad review. I went in to eat with my family everything was going good. Until, the food started arriving at the table. We had eaten all of our food and the chicken Alfredo never arrive, so I asked a staff to please put in a container to go, forward to the evening I tried to eat and found a fly inside the pasta. By the way the container was given to me with a lid.

I recently visited and it seemed like the recipe for the lemon chicken had changed. It was lacking in flavor and just not what I remembered. I drive up from San Diego so it was disappointing to not enjoy it as much as I used to.

Today we went to the O's American Kitchen to celebrate my nephew's 14th Birthday. The food there is excellent like the pasta alfredo. Delicious finger licking lemon or bbq chicken wings. Also my favorite lemon chicken salad and potato wedges. We all had fun tonight with my nephew. Cheers to many more yeats to come!

Baked pasta with chicken and bacon was excellent. I was too tired to cook. Didn't want to drive. Comfort food was what I needed and it was great. Two breadsticks. Very good. And some leftover for tomorrow.

We got 1 pizza and bread sticks. This is the third and last time we will go here. The pizza had low quality ingredients. The chicken was completely dried out and gave me stomach issues.

They are obviously trying to cut costs at the risk of the health of the customers.
