Oscars Mexican Seafood reviews
20Great location with a few spots for outdoor dining. Friendly, helpful staff. Tacos were good, but not as all the hype would suggest.
Recommend Taco Especial, it contains smoked fish, shrimp, and scallops, but I actually can't really find any scallops in it. My another favorite is the fish stew!
A good fresh local hole in the wall dive type of place with great food and excellent fast friendly service. Perfect for a quick bite
Everything was delicious but the thing that surprised me the most was the soup! It was amazing. I feel lucky that my partner insisted on ordering it and got to try it. It was rich and refreshing. A great complement to the all the oily food you’re eating.
The hot sauces they give with the tacos is one of the best sauces I have ever had. Very good food
Absolutely amazing octopus tacos. We went back 3 times to get them. But the other tacos were also great!
Truly this is amazing. The torta was nearly perfect. If they had toasted the bread it would have been one of my top 5 sandwiches of all time and I eat a lot of sandwiches.
Food is great. Minus the one time there was a hair in it. But they used to answer the phone and now they dont. I actually got answered and hung up on a handful of times too. Then walking in not greeted for a full two minutes.
One of our most favorite taco places in SD, usually they hit on their breakfast burritos and vegetarian tacos.be sure to give them a try, they are usually fast and tasty!
A pretty neat taco place and ordered the skirt steak, Al pastor and spicy grilled shrimp taco. The shrimp taco was the best of the three.
This is an outstanding taqueria located in a central part of the Pacific Beach boardwalk.
The seafood here is nothing short of incredible. Highly recommended if you're looking for a reasonably priced meal at the beach
One of the best fish tacos I've ever had. If you want somewhere to eat at a reasonable price around PB that has great Mexican food Oscars is a great place to go to
Oscars has been serving up great Baja tacos for a long time and nothing has changed. This no frills restaurant makes delicious tacos for an affordable price and gives generous portions. Personal favorite is the surf & turf.
Skip the overpriced options on the pier and come here. Best food we’ve had in San Diego all weekend!
Amazing so fresh and that sauce. It's a must try! I got a few recommendations and they did not disappoint. We got the tacos especial mmmm.
The tacos are amazing! My crew and I spent a week at an air bnb close by, and we ate here almost every day! I loved the skirt steak tacos, and my crew liked the seafood tacos. I also tried the ceviche one day, and it did not disappoint. This is a must try if you're in the area!
I'm not a big seafood fan but friends said we're needed to go to Oscars. So glad we did. The surf and turf taco was fantastic.
The food at Oscar’s is delicious! First Mexican place I tried in SD on vacation and I was really impressed. Very cheap but tasty and the tacos are huge
Awesome seafood tacos, just be ready for a wait. If I'm ever back in San Diego, this place would be a must-have. I got the battered shrimp and the surf & turf, both really great (though I liked the battered shrimp more).
