Oscar's Original Homemade Salsa

I like the salsa, its a good local one. What id really like to see is something dangerous, like ghost pepper salsa. Make it hurt.

I bought a container of the hot salsa and my first impression of it was the strong scent of roasted chili and the bitter taste from that. The red chili obviously has more of an earthier taste, which is OK, but for some it might be a little overwhelming. I believe the longer the ingredients sit the more bold the flavors will be. That’s why I believe the bitterness is strong in my opinion. For me a little bit goes a long ways with the more earthier roasted pepper salsa. As for dipping with chips alone you’ll get more of this flavor and it might be overpowering, but mix it with other Mexican food and I’m sure it would blend a better. This is a subjective review so basically to each his own.some might enjoy this and some might not prefer it.

This salsa is the bomb! Soooo yummy. No need to go to a fancy Mexican food restaurant or taco shop for this. It’s so good you can have the chips and salsa experience at home.
