Osteostrong Riverside-Mission Grove

I have definitely made a good choice. Osteostrong! I am getting stronger with each visit and at the same time my bone quality is improving. I first discovered Osteostrong from a book called “Rebuild Your Bones”. The author highly recommends joining Osteostrong. My journey started here at Osteostrong Riverside Mission Grove, almost a year ago. I am going to continue my membership, it is a must. As I reflect back on this year, I have learned so much about bone health. I give credit to OsteoStrong’s staff. It is helping me through education giving me all the support I need and just knowing that I could take action in my own health, rebuilding my bones instead of doing nothing. I have the knowledge to make good choices instead of living in fear. I learned a new term this year, called Osteogenic Load. It means the amount of weight or “load” that is required for bone building. OsteoStrong is an effective tool for me to improve my bone density without taking prescription medications.
I am 68 years old, I have my next Dexa scan scheduled in December of 2023. My past T-score showed 2.3 in my left hip, and 2.6 in the lumbar spine. I am looking forward to the new year to continue my journey at OsteoStrong. Today, I honestly have noticed a big improvement in my posture and how I stand. I saw a physical change in my appearance in the photos of myself, that were taken by my coaches at OsteoStrong throughout the year. I feel I am getting stronger and I am developing good muscle tone. It is a fun experience going once a week. I like meeting new people who understand and care. I like being able to connect with others in a safe place here at OsteoStrong!

The staff is wonderful and the resistance machines that help you gain bone mass are challenging but keep you focused on doing better with each visit. The cost per visit is minimal for the results that you can/will obtain. I would highly recommend OsteoStrong to family and friends!

A dexa scan in September 2021 identified osteoporosis. After my scan, I signed up for Osteostrong. My current dexa scan, 2022 showed that my osteoporosis without the use of drugs is moving in the right direction. The staff is informative, friendly, and supportive. I would highly recommend it.
