Osteria La Buca reviews
15Good vibes, great food and excellent service. We had their brussel sprouts, burrata, cacio e pepe, and a couple of pies and everything was delicious. They have a full bar and an extensive wine menu too. Highly recommend.
The staff made me feel welcome even though they where really busy. Service was quite and very tasty
Great meal. Ricotta and the Bucatini.
Second trip had the ricotta again. Perfect. Lemon Pistachio past was fire too. One of the best Italian spots in LA.
A fancy italian restaurant. We absolutely loved the 1903 draft and the various pizzas/pastas. Antipasta was amazing, especially the brusselsprout dish as well as the steak tartare.
VERY good food! Everything we ordered was delicious! Our son ordered the bolognase and it was a huge hit. Our server was a ton of fun, too.
Went with a reservation on a Friday night and it was quite busy, but we got seated at a reasonable time. Host recommended the Brussels sprouts and they were amazing! I think the best we’ve ever had. We also got the octopus which was extremely chewy and came on almost burnt potatoes. Rigatoni bolognese was solid. Definitely worth the trip just for the Brussels and some cocktails, vibe was nice too
Great service, tasty and creative food. Tables very close together and fairly noisy, but authentically European ambience.
Pleasant servers, but extremely slow food delivery. "Meh" pizza and tiny pasta carbonara portions. It's pasta guys, don't give me that nouvelle cuisine, anorexic portions bs; be generous and let me decide when I've had enough.
There was virtually no light in the upstairs section… you need to be a bat to hear what they put in front of you, coz you can't see it.
Seating was a little cramped but outside of toutside of that the food was delicious the service staff was phenomenal and I would definitely recommend
We got so lucky and snapped up a table as they were opening on a Saturday. The food here was amazing, the servers were so nice and they even helped us pick out dishes. I can't stress enough how great this place is.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Amazing gluten free pasta! My boyfriend and I ate here two nights in a row and can’t wait to go back again.
Awesome spot with a well-curated bar program. This place is an Amaro lover's haven. We sat at the bar and had a great time with John. The food was impeccable. Would highly recommend for a date or night on the town with the boys.
The food is delicious! Highly recommend the brussel sprouts as the appetizer. The staff is attentive and helpful. The space downstairs has decent natural light with high ceilings so it feels pleasant.
Great experience at Osteria La Buca. Reservations highly recommended, I'm not sure they accept walk ins, they were very busy for Saturday night. We were asked to show our Covid vaccination card before entering and then were promptly seated. Great wine list and shareable options! The house bread was so fragrant. We opted for the carbonara and it did not disappoint! Tiramisu for desert was perfect, airy and not too sweet!
Great little local spot and friendly staff. My friend lives across the street and this is a regular spot. Recommend if you are in the area and craving some good Italian food. The portions are pretty big and we had enough for 2 meals!
